About This Wedding
We are completeltly smitten with Asheville wedding venue, The Hawkesdene House. This private mountain estate nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains is intimate, unique and every wedding here is special. Vesic Photography was behind the lens on this one and captures Meagan & Finley's love perfectly. These two lovebirds said their I Do's on one of the prettiest fall days in Asheville, and this wedding was nothing short of perfection. Enjoy lovelies!
From Vesic Photography...
Finley & Meagan came in from Atlanta for their destination wedding at Hawkesdene House in Andrews, NC. They brought friends and family from all over, and we set up for a fantastic wedding hosted by the great people at Hawkesdene.
In the photos, you’ll see we did a small variation on the first look, the time a couple sees each other before the ceremony. It’s common for a couple to exchange notes to each other, but Meagan had the great idea to read them together. Making sure Finley didn’t see Meagan, we set up this scene where they exchanged notes, shared some time together and had some words for each other before the ceremony started.
Hawkesdene is nice because there are various places you can choose to hold your ceremony. Meagan & Finley chose the main garden under the pergola, which was perfect as the sun set. After the ceremony we were taken to the top of the mountain via an ATV to have some great photos overlooking the Blue Ridge Parkway. You can’t beat clear skies overlooking North Carolina's mountains!
Mid way through the reception we headed out to the ceremony site to set off some wish lanterns. This relatively new and upcoming tradition looks fantastic and always gets great photos. A highlight of the reception was seeing the awesome bond between Finley and his brothers. There is such a strong connection there, and they bring out the best of fun in each other.
The photos speak for themselves, so let’s get to it. Cheers to Meagan & Finley!
