Kate Preftakes Photography

I am a native New Englander but love to travel the world. I live with my four beautiful children, my husband and my sweet rescue dog, Posie. When I am not photographing people and events I can be found working in my garden, hanging out with my family, or hiking with my dog.

I have a fine art background and studied photography in Chicago and Seattle. I worked in a commercial food photography studio but fell in love with weddings. My experience, fine art degree and attention to detail are what set me apart from other photographers.
