We loved Jack! He was always available, approachable, organized and friendly. He was great about taking a lot of photo-journalism type shots that allowed us to stay with our friends and family during the day of the wedding. We didn't have to spend tons of time taking pictures, which was great. Jack's pictures captured the sheer joy of the day so well.
Jack was amazing. He got to the venue earlier than he was supposed and captured so many amazing moments from our wedding day. He and his assistant were so sweet, kind, and would take any picture combo we asked. Once the wedding started he managed to take hundreds of pictures and we never even noticed he was there! The photobooth was an added bonus that our guests loved being a part of.
Jack was one of our absolute favorite wedding vendors to work with. He is such a professional, and captures every moment of your wedding day without interfering (or, more often than not, without you even noticing he's taking a picture). We weren't really sure what we wanted or needed out of a wedding photographer, but thankfully Jack didn't need much instruction, and he shot every single detail of the entire day- more than I could have ever thought to ask for. We got to know Jack at an … engagement photo shoot prior to the big day, which was really nice of him to include, because when the big day came, we had already gotten to know Jack and were familiar with his style. He also offers a photo booth with his wedding photography packages, which was so much fun for our guests- it's almost like having extra entertainment! I was pretty shocked when I first learned what the average price of professional wedding photography costs in Charlottesville. That said, it was worth every penny (and then some) to have a photographer like Jack. After the day has come and gone, the photos are really all you have to look back on the special day. Also, Jack is a rock star and had our photos back to us within days after the wedding, which allowed us to order copies to send out as our Christmas cards. I can't say enough good things about Jack and his team! Read More
Jack is a dream to work with! His pictures are stunning. We have so many favorites. He is really easy to work with and it's obvious he cares deeply in making sure you are satisfied with his product and service. Would recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone!
We are so, so happy that we chose Jack to be the photographer for our big day. Jack will go above and beyond for you and is extremely willing to help you get the most value out of your budget. Jack is so friendly, accommodating, and professional - he really knows what he's doing. Luckily for us, Jack was also really familiar with our venue (King Family Vineyards) and that definitely helped to make things run very smoothly. At the reception, we hardly saw Jack - he unobtrusively managed to … captured SO many special moments without continually asking people to pose for pictures. We could not have been happier with his service! Our pictures are stunning and he really captured our relationship with such ease - especially for two people who don't love having their photo taken! Everyone in our families and wedding party could not stop talking about how nice Jack was and how he made the potentially stressful pre-wedding time so easy and worry-free. We wholeheartedly recommend Jack to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!! Read More
