About This Wedding

From the bride...

I’ve always loved damask look and Todd’s favorite color is green so we wanted to incorporate the 2 looks together. When we found Castle Hill Cider, I knew I wanted to have a Classy Barn Reception. Charlottesville wedding photographer, Robinson Imagery, captured every moment of it perfectly.

The Couple

Together

The bride is the youngest of 3 children. Born and raised in Northern VA. She graduated from Christopher Newport University in 2006 with a Bachelors Degree in Communications Studies. She currently works in Logistics for an International MovingCompany. The groom is the middle child of 3. Raised in an Air Force family, he lived all over the country. He graduated from Christopher Newport University in 2007 with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science. He currently works as Administrative support for the Defense Acquisition University at Fort Belvoir. We both enjoy running very much and we plan to run our 2nd marathon together the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington, DC this October 2012. We play on 2 co-ed indoor soccer teams during the week and we love to play together.

Our Love Story

We both grew up playing and loving sports. Heidi was recruited to play soccer at Christopher Newport University. It was on the CNU soccer field where she met "Frenchie" (Megan French), Todd's older sister. Todd followed his sister Meg to CNU in the fall of 2003. He came to every home soccer game to support his big sister and to hopefully meet some of her teammates. Meg officially introduced Heidi to her little brother Todd in the Spring of 2004.

What's Next

We are busy still recovering from the wedding chaos. We continue to play soccer on many co-ed teams in the area. We bought a townhouse in Springfield, VA in August 2011 so we have lots of home improvement work to keep us busy. We plan to have a large family and maybe a dog in the future.
