About This Wedding
Vintage country with lots of color and history, the celebration of our heritage. Jonathan proposed with his great grandmother's diamond then we added his grandmothers and my first year diamonds. My mom's dress fit Perfectly, cowboy boots too. And my grandmother's century old farm really set the stage.
Jonathan spends most of his time in the restaurant / real estate world. He actually proposed not 30 days after opening our first restaurant, The Light Well. Lauren is the project manager for Sugar Magnolias, an event florist, while also playing chauffeur for adorable twin 3 year old girls.
Our Love Story
We met in Greenville, NC while working at a local restaurant near ECU. People used to tease me about the boys that "chased after me" growing up. But I knew Jonathan was the one when he literally chased after me when I left a party before Christmas break. Since then its been a six year adventure up and down the east coast.
I've never been an out of the box kind of person, I sometimes make the box. And I'm fortunate enough to have creative parents that never limited me in my creations. So my mom and I made our invitations with her letter press and my dad helped create our dining tables out of saw ponies and old doors. My favorite though just might have been the ribbon wall my aunt created.

Pick the few pieces of the day that you truly never want to forget and focus on doing those really well- the rest will fall into place. And you can never have enough pictures!
We are on the search for our island and of course we both turn 30.
