We had our wedding at Deity on September, it was a small reception with cocktails hour and a lunch, the place was perfect for what we wanted and the staff was amazing. Starting with Anna, she was so helpful and kind with us, our kid and all our guests, very patient and always answered our questions and doubts. Ours guest are still talking about it and how much of a good time they had there. The food was delicious and the place was decorated very delicately and nice. We used the suite to get ready and was very convenient not having to travel from place to place, was also beautiful to have photos done there as well as the rooftop. I would definitely recommend this place for any party/event in a bit.

I loved having my wedding at Olio! It is definitely apparent that they are pros at hosting weddings through the ease of the planning process and how smoothly our day went. My wedding was planned in only about 4 months and Olio helped make it happen! We definitely could not have had a better wedding in that short amount of planning time without the help of Sarah at Olio. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and looks great as is without any extra decorations. They also provide lists of preferred caterers and vendors just to help out future clients! This made my planning process a lot easier. I would recommend anyone to choose Olio!

We were married at the Woodsgate venue in July of 2023. We cannot sing the praises of Stroudsmoor and its phenomenal staff enough for the service provided on our wedding day. Our guests, even months after, still tell us it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to. One of the most frequent compliments was on the food and hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour. Stroudsmoor does not skimp on variety! The quality was second to none on flavor and service! The planning process Stroudsmoor offers its clients is intuitive and accommodating. Trust their process and your day will look exactly like it does in your mind. From floral and decor, to bakery, to even allowing you to coordinate and time your ceremony entrance, they are incredibly detail oriented. Communicate often with your coordinators. They will take your pictures, DIY decorations, and placement requests seriously and thoughtfully. They allow frequent meeting times and in-person discussions so there are no questions at all about how you want your day to look and feel. Our event coordinator Danica, and floral and decor specialist Grayson tag-teamed to assuage any concerns we ever had and took so much stress and burden off our planning we cannot thank them enough! Numerous little details made us feel so special. They took our drink orders prior to the ceremony and had them waiting for us once it was done. In the bridal suite, they had a platter of all of the hot d’oeuvres waiting for us in case we couldn’t enjoy them in the moment. One staff member in particular, Belkis, went above and beyond on the wedding day. She was our shadow (particularly for the bride) who made sure everything we needed was right there. She even carried our bride’s train and held the umbrella for us in the rain when our photographers took us for pictures! Some constructive critiques we can provide for accommodations: While Stroudsmoor and staff provided us with our dream wedding, we cannot say the same level of detail was given to the Ledgemere suite we stayed in the night before or of our wedding. A large bathroom with a jetted tub, gorgeous picture window to the woods out back, loft with plenty of space for your bridal party to get ready in, and a private deck to get fresh air are all provided. However, after so many years of providing romantic experiences for their couples, the inn is in considerable need of updating in decor and appliances. Our refrigerator was unable to close due to over-icing, the room itself was still decorated for Christmas from months prior, and unfortunately, the essence of our linens were musty and seemed as though they had not been freshened in quite some time. Additionally, of the only two weddings hosted that evening, they placed both wedding couples and parties in neighboring rooms. There were several unused Ledgemere suites at that time. A little privacy and distance between the two bridal couples would have went a long way. Unfortunately, our guests at the inn itself claimed similar experiences in other onsite suites. That said, the inn staff was pleasant and quick to respond to our concerns. We were simply surprised at the difference in quality between the wedding and the lodging accommodations. Overall, we will be recommending Stroudsmoor to anybody and everybody. They will ensure you and your guests will enjoy a special day with none of the stress. Everything will be taken care of and you will be free to enjoy the day knowing they have everything under control.

When searching for our wedding venue- we reviewed and saw many sites -we wanted a venue that felt like lancaster but was also modern- Stoltzfus Homestead and Gardens was that and SO much more. In the end we felt like we were part of the family. There is history on site with the tobacco barn and grand barn while also being updated and always adding something special like the secret garden where we had our first look. Dawn, one of the co owners- is personable and detailed, your wedding will go off without a hitch. When booking you have to choose one of their DJs and Caterers from their preferred vendor list-this is so helpful because it narrows down from the abundance of vendors out there while also allowing you the freedom to choose what you want to spend. closer to the wedding we worked more with Brian and Matt-they are some of the hardest workers I know-ensuring your day goes as you wish and keeping the property trim and clean. I could say so much about this venue, it truly was the perfect day and one we will reflect on for the rest of our lives. ...To anyone considering this venue for their private event, look no further! In our good fortune, we stumbled upon the Stolzfus' B&B through an Internet search where we needed to be able to host immediate & extended family during a long weekend, along with planning our event on the grounds (a wedding, in our case!). The circa-1740s home is clean and well stocked, with modern amenities and updates right alongside the beautiful historical character of the house itself. Juana was our "wedding fairy" -- answering questions, providing insights and suggestions for local options on flowers, transportation, and the like; and offered great flexibility with our menu for various meals for family brunches AND our event catering: Her husband Chef John is like the magician behind the curtain, with five star meals cooked to perfection with creativity and quality. Truly, our weekend was glorious - hassle-free, well-organized, and memorable in all the best ways. THANK YOU John and Juana for hosting our family and making us feel at home yet on vacation at the same time!!! We are already looking forward to returning.

I don’t know where to begin to describe the wonderful experience we had with the Donauschwaben’s German Cultural Center and their stellar event coordinator, Christine. We were fortunate to happen upon the venue shortly after a cancellation, so we were able to secure a date within 6 months of our early May 2023 wedding date. Meeting with Christine was a breath of fresh air. She was knowledgeable about absolutely everything the venue had to offer. This includes but was not limited to the 3 tired wedding package options, alcohol choices, food allergy accommodations, linens information, lighting options, outdoor spaces, and decoration suggestions and options. She made us all feel welcomed and special. She worked closely with me, the bride, and was flexible throughout the entire planning process. She communicated clearly with our vendors and was present the day of the event to help with any coordination or potential hiccups. She was compassionate and never hesitated to provide insight with other wedding related details even when they didn't pertain to the venue. Christine was a true pleasure to work with and was a genuine blessing. The reception hall itself is nice and open with plenty of space for hundreds of people. My 230ish guests did not feel over crowded at all. I had sleeves on my wedding dress, but they did a good job of keeping the room from getting warm and stuffy. The picturesque outdoor patio was a big hit on our wedding day. The space was very helpful so people could relax or take a break from the noise and enjoy conversation, fresh air, and a nice view of their pond and fountain. It was also nice to have this space to set up lawn games for people to play and to have space for kids to enjoy and run on the grassy lawn. There was also a playground on-site we were permitted to use. The service during dinner was efficient and professional. Everyone enjoyed the food from the appetizers of meatballs, fruit/veggie trays, and loaded potato skins to the schnitzel, beef tips, and potatoes we had at dinner. The water and coffee set up was handy and delicious with unlimited access, flavored syrups, and whipped cream. I credit that table for keeping this bride going that day! I can't recommend this venue enough. If I redid the day, I wouldn't change a thing!

At the turn of the century the company faced a crisis: the site of their mill would be flooded to form the Wachusett Reservoir. Instead of abandoning the mill, the company dismantled it brick by brick and shipped it to its new home in Easthampton, where it was rebuilt on the banks of the Lower Mill Pond. There is so much that I can say about the wonderful team The Boylston Rooms has curated. From the beginning of the wedding planning process, Erin, Myles and Jacquetta were available every step of the way. Their communication, responsiveness, and general excitement about the day made the entire process seamless. When our day arrived, each part of their team stopped at nothing to make sure that our wedding was as perfect as can be. (It was Jacquetta’s day off and she even stopped by to check in as she was in the area!) I initially booked The Boylston Rooms because it is truly a venue you can customize to your own vision. I loved that it was an industrial blank canvas that we turned into a floral disco dream. However, it was the team at The Boylston Rooms that truly made it the most special day.

There are not enough words to express how thankful we are for Art Factory and their phenomenal team. I fell in love with the beautiful venue and after our tour, I HAD to book the very next day. They customize your wedding like they build sets for the movies they shoot there (we had our ceremony in the Spielberg room where they shot West Side Story). There was not a single idea that I had that the coordinators turned down. They made every vision that I had come to life. In the beginning there were a couple of different coordinators, but I ended up with the BEST ONE YET. Sharonda was absolutely amazing. She was such a pleasure to work with, and I felt like I could go to her with anything. She made sure that everything ran as smoothly as possible in the week leading up to our wedding, and the day of. The vendors that they connect you with are great. We chose from their in-house list for everything and that’s something I definitely recommend because they all know each other and work together. I am recommending Art Factory to ANYONE that I know is getting married!

Our wedding at Sylvan Ridge Farm was an absolute dream!!! From the moment we found the venue online I knew it was the perfect place for us. Fast forward to actually touring the venue and we couldn't wait to be back there! The property, barn and house are all absolutely beautiful and so well taken care of. Being able to have a whole wedding weekend was at the top of our wish list and Sylvan Ridge made this possible. The owners of the venue were easy to contact and always replied to all emails very quickly. Their coordination team was also beyond amazing! From months before our wedding through the entire day of, Kayla made sure everything ran perfectly. We cannot say enough good things about Sylvan Ridge!! The staff at the Inn made everything from day 1 amazing! The event staff, especially Meilee were incredible, flexible and made our wedding weekend vision complete! The planning, the tasting, arrival and wedding day were all put together very well and the place just feels like a big welcoming family. This venue is only an hour away from us but it feels like you are whisked away to a luxurious destination. We filled every room and the staff was very respectful and welcoming to every guest. The views are also worth every penny. There were only compliments from guests for the Inn at Churon venue all together.

This place is amazing! Our wedding was in October of 2020 and it turned out beautiful and just about as stress free as you can get. The owner is so helpful sits down with you so she can make everything perfect. The decorations were gorgeous and if you don’t have a DJ, catering, etc. she has recommendations. We planned on getting married at the oak tree, but we had to use our rain plan when it drizzled all day but it worked out perfectly. It was an easy fix and turned out way prettier than I could imagine.

We were one of the first weddings back in 2016 at Worsell Manor, so I know a lot has changed, but we couldn’t have been happier! Sepia's private dining room could not have been more perfect for our son's rehearsal dinner! The room is lovely and the table settings were beautiful. The soy glazed beef skewers, duck breast, and shrimp ceviche are only a few of the many outstanding passed appetizers. For entrees, we chose pan roasted king salmon and a grilled pork chop that was without a doubt the best I have ever eaten. Kali handled our reservation with flawless service and Jennifer helped us choose the perfect wines. All in all, a successful night with many compliments afterward from our guests.

We feel so incredibly blessed to have found Wedgewood Brittany Hill. I was feeling very overwhelmed at the idea of planning a wedding and their planning and coordination team helped me feel at ease and basically took care of every last detail. The whole process was smooth, they were communicative and so kind! Our wedding day went PERFECTLY. I dropped off my decir the day before and asked them to “use their imagination” when designing the center pieces and they turned out to be so stunning. The food was delicious (highly recommend the prime rib!) and we received at least a dozen compliments on how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was! Special shout of to Cristen for ensuring a smooth wedding day and an absolute gorgeous set up. Also shout of to our amazing banquet captain Maddie and servers Darrian, Fea, and Fren! Also shout out to our vendors, The Dessert Stand, Terry our bartender, Wes our DJ, and Compass Rose floral! We couldn’t have imagined a better wedding day. The Walden came through big time on our big day! If you're looking for a Chicago wedding where the ceremony and reception are in one venue space look no further. The Walden was extremely convenient for us and our guests. They also did an amazing job helping us plan the wedding too. They had 2 coordinators who gave us a checklist with every last detail and some we didn't even think about which was very helpful. They would also check in to see how we were doing throughout the year while we were planning. They also recommended a bunch of vendors from previous weddings and all of them were amazing. We also brought in some outside vendors they accommodated. The big thing was the day of everything went flawless! We had 3 day of coordinators who were on top of everything. The food was incredible! I had a guest who was engaged asked where we got it catered. The staff was also great at attending to our every need at our couples table while we got to eat (yes we actually ate at our wedding which was extremely important for my wife). Khalila who was our planning and day of coordinator was a rockstar! When our ceremony ran 15 minutes long, she knew exactly what to do to get us back on track. And when my wife started getting a little bridezillaly she calmed her down right away. All of our guests the next day raved at how much fun they had. It was the perfect day thanks to the perfect venue! I wish I could give 6 out of 5 stars.

Caitlyn not only was so responsive, easy to work with, answered my million questions-she made the whole experience from hard hat walk through to even after the wedding day sooo personable. When I think back to our wedding experience, Caitlyn is someone who is so meaningful and important to the whole process. Our experience was AMAZING and would recommend this venue to everyone. Caitlyn was so thoughtful and even had drinks in hand for me and my now husband as soon as the ceremony was over. Not only is it the cutest venue with everything in one building, it is right downtown Louisville, and has a great outdoor photo spot only a five minute drive away. We hosted our fusion wedding (South Asian and Jewish) at Milton Ridge on October 13, 2023, amidst a guest count of about 115 on a crisp and cool fall day. From the stunning venue to the seamless coordination, our special day was a beautiful blend of traditions and cultures. We believe that Milton Ridge is unique in offering an all-inclusive intimate space with comprehensive packages and fair pricing. The picturesque setting of Milton Ridge provided the perfect backdrop for our celebration. The lush gardens and elegant architecture created a romantic atmosphere that perfectly complemented the joyous occasion. The venue's versatility allowed for a seamless transition between the fusion outdoor Nikkah ceremony and the lively reception. Both day-of coordinators (from the venue) deserve special recognition for their impeccable service. They went above and beyond by working with the decorating crew, DJ, MC, and photography crew to ensure that every detail was executed flawlessly. From the initial planning stages to the day of the event, their professionalism and dedication were evident. The catering was a highlight of the evening. The fusion menu was expertly curated by the on-site chef and offered a delightful array of dishes that pleased guests from both cultural backgrounds. The chef at Milton Ridge showcased his culinary expertise by seamlessly blending flavors and textures, creating a feast that left a lasting impression on our guests. There were some concerns with the demeanor of some of the contracted waitstaff towards some of our externally hired vendors, but I recognize that this was not necessarily in the venue staff's control. I would suggest that the venue's staff be more responsive and receptive to telephone communication, as well. Some matters can be better discussed over the phone. I believe the venue mentioned that we were the 2nd or 3rd South Asian wedding held at the venue, so we were glad to allow the venue to work with us on our wedding to gain experience and we would certainly consider hosting future events such as anniversary parties or a baby shower at Milton Ridge!

I have been working with the Willowdale team for many years as a florist and the grounds and home are breathtaking. The entire house can be rented with many cozy rooms for all occasions and 4 fireplaces for those chilly evenings. This is a year round venue with gorgeous gardens on the exterior, container plants, a well kept lawn for wedding games and festive holiday decorations for the winter months. The tent and tent company provides many lighting/decor packages for the over the top bistro lighting or chandeliers. The photo opportunities are endless being that the estate sits in the Willowdale state forest offering total privacy. The staff is extremely professional and attentive to all couples and vendors. The space needed minimal decorating since it was already so incredible and it was perfect size and location for our 95 person celebration. We felt a NEED to do this review because of how amazing Osteria was. It was perfect for our wedding. Our number one priority was great great food because we’ve all been to plenty of weddings where that wasn’t “main thing” but for us that’s important and boy did they deliver and more. The food was amazing, the ambience was exactly what we wanted and they accommodated so much to make our day so so so special! We love the even coordinator Fiona there, she went above and beyond and the manager the day of was also so amazing. Our guest loved it. So many people who were our guest and not our guest commented on how beautiful the whole place was. We cannot recommend them enough and would do this again at Osteria in a heartbeat!

My spouse and I knew very early on that we did not spend a lot of time and effort wedding planning, so our priority was finding a truly all-inclusive venue that was beautiful and within our budget. The Retreat met those requirements, and exceeded expectation. The staff are so kind and professional, and made the planning process so easy. We were also very pleased with all the vendors that were assigned to us. I’ve heard some people say about Wedgewood that the weddings are pretty “cookie-cutter” (i.e., all the same) but I really feel that the Retreat staff and vendors helped fulfill our vision and make our day feel special and unique to us, even if we were mostly following a pretty traditional framework. We felt well taken care of throughout the process and on our special day. Would highly recommend to others.

When my partner and I were looking for the perfect venue for our wedding we looked no further than the Chabot Space and Science Center (CSSC). The team at the CSSC were amazing! They worked closely with us helping to plan the wedding ceremony and reception of our dreams. They are kind, professional, and very knowledgeable. We looked at a lot of venues in our search for the "right" place that was not only beautiful but also affordable. CSSC is affordable compared to many in the Bay Area offering indoor and outdoor event spaces and really cool package options that fit nicely within our budget. We I can't say enough good things about them. We had a small wedding group or 35 guests and I was worried that we would get lost in the museum. The team understood my desire to have an intimate ceremony and reception and they made it happen. They understand the space and how to make the most of it. Although we had planned well in advance, we had to make last minute changes and the team made the changes without drama and upset! I was so calm and happy on my big day thanks to the team making everything work smoothly. Every couple wants their special day to be amazing for family and friends. We all want our guests to have a wonderful time at our wedding. My partner and I had the wedding of our dreams at Chabot Space and Science Center and our guests are still talking about the unique, fun and educational experience they enjoyed!

We were so honored to be invited guests at an amazing wedding this past weekend on September 3rd 2023 at Lajoya Dulce Ranch. We had never been to Steamboat Springs so we called Lajoya Dulce for suggestions for lodging and area activities. We spoke with Kathie the owner and boy did she come through for us. She actually emailed us an amazing itinerary! We felt like she knew exactly who we were and what we would like. From our lodging that had us sleep to the sounds of the river rapids from our screen door, the incredible Saturday farmers market, and relaxing in the hot springs prior to the wedding, we felt like this was our wedding week! The drive up to Lajoya Dulce was so beautiful. The Colorado experience started right at the ranch gate when a women rode up on a horse to greet us just like in a movie! Little did we know it was the owner Kathie! Mandy and the staff greeted us and showed us where the restrooms were and brought us into the barn for cocktails and apps. The barn was spotless. This is a real working ranch so I was expecting the usual smells and there were none! The restrooms were easily accessible from anywhere on the property. Very clean (and the music inside them was a nice touch). The ceremony was held outside with the most amazing views of the mountains and countryside. They got married on horses complete with a real double rainbow. Every inch of Lajoya Dulce is made for pictures! The bar was so cute. It was inside a vintage trailer. Drinks were all great (and strong)! The old fashioned was my favorite made with real good bourbon and real maraschino cherries. The bartenders were so friendly and new alot about drinks.( If your lucky, you can ask to find Wayne and have a great coversation about bourbon). The reception was held inside a real working horse arena. The walls were covered in beautiful fabric, there was a huge dance floor on top of the dirt that the horses ride on, a big stage with a great band and beautiful chandaliers. Not sure what they do to the ground but we were all amazed that the dirt did not get on anything! Some of the ladies dresses were dragging along the dirt and we were shocked they did not get dirty. It was almost like a carpet (nice and soft on your feet). I kept checking the bottom of my shoes to see absolutely nothing. Simply amazed!!! They even brought in an instructor to teach us some line dances. The staff was very professional and great to talk to. The food was outstanding. It was cocktail reception style with food stations all around. I liked that I could eat what I wanted when I wanted and 2 hours later I could eat more. We had great pulled pork and Buffalo chicken sliders, mac and cheese station with all the toppings, tamales, salad station and more. I dont think I got to try everything because I was so full. Desserts were on point also! Hand made churros and the milk shakes in little milk bottles were my favorite. To end the entire Colorado experience, we could actually see the Milkyway outside!!! One of the staff told us all of the properties are not aloud to have any uplighting outside so as to not cause any light pollution. We were very appreciative of this because we had never actually seen the Milky Way. We were simply amazed! Kathie, Mandy and the rest of the team at Lajoya Dulce really go above and beyond to give every guest a real genuine Colorado experience. The attention to detail is not missed by us. It was a storybook wedding we will never forget.

My husband and I got married at The Riverview on 10/21/22 and we truly can't say enough great things! From the moment we first saw the stunning venue and were shown around by Maureen we instantly knew that this was going to be the place where we'd begin our forever. We were so lucky to have Maureen and Meghan as our day of coordinators, they made each step of the day go by flawlessly!! Every turn they were there to offer a hand, a bite to eat, or a specialty cocktail. The waitstaff were excellent and attentive as well. We were told by many of our guests how delicious the cocktail hour and their meals were (highly recommend the filet!) The biggest hit was the trays of Italian cookies served for dessert along with our cake, guests still tell us they were some of the best they've ever had! I will be shouting praise for Sadie Lake Events till the end of time! The venue is absolutely gorgeous, there are ceremony and reception locations scattered throughout the property, allowing couples to choose their own adventure! DeeDee was wonderful to work with, you can tell she has a huge heart for love. She is willing to work with and communicates that effectively. Their in house inventory allows you to save a little, which goes a long way when planning a wedding. My only suggestion is to add pictures to your “inventory list” to ensure your correct items are pulled for your event.

Josh and I booked our wedding at The Grands within a week of getting engaged, the process was super easy, staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Quick responses to phone calls, texts and emails. I had no trouble finding great food for our guests and I didn't get sick which is HUGE since I have Celiacs and it was a huge worry. My goodness, there aren’t words to express my gratitude for Beth and my love for Villa Festa. We truly were struggling with venues for our wedding until I went stumbled upon this place. We couldn’t justify thousands of dollars on a venue that we get for less than 12 hours and that seemed to be the way everything was. Villa Festa is changing the game. Not only were we able to have the venue for the entire weekend (allowing us to DIY and set up things up prior) but we were also able to spend genuine time with our friends and family since we could all stay overnight at the venue. Villa Festa cuts out a lot of the puzzle pieces when planning, making it so much less stressful. Beth (the owner) is an angel walking this Earth. Communication is always prompt and she truly cares that you have the wedding of your dreams. Every second was beautiful. The venue was clean and incredibly maintained. I could not imagine having our wedding anywhere else. If you’re considering Villa Festa, just book a tour and you’ll be sold the second you pull up. I was very overwhelmed after being let down by so many places and the second we arrived and were greeted, we just knew that was it. Cannot recommend enough!!

As a full time wedding DJ for a while, I've seen most venues in central Massachusetts. Nothing compares to Harrington Farm. The staff is attentive, detail oriented and is committed to creating the perfect day for couples. The building itself is perfect with a barn feel, cozy in the winter with the fireplace and stunning in the fall, spring and summer - sunsets and golden hour photos are unmatched. The ceremony spaces are just the right size with well thought-out landscaping. Cocktail hour in the Sperry Tent is magical with cool shade in the summer and just the right amount of ambiance. Inside the barn, the post and beam structure is gorgeous and the dance floor size is exactly right for an awesome party. Unfortunately the fountains didn’t work but that was no one’s fault beside the carp that decided to get stuck in it. RoosterTail is a 12/10 and they do more then just weddings :)

We had an exceptional time at Hardings, start to finish. Jill and Ken made ever step, from signing to contract to the actual party itself as stress free as it could possibly be -- going so far as to help us envision what the ceremony could be like and making six different cocktails at the tasting until we found the right one. The food was delicious (the amount of compliments we got on the apps alone could fill a book), the cocktails were unique and flowing and the staff made the whole day a dream. The restaurant was an elegant and gorgeous place to have the ceremony and it seamlessly turned into a perfect party spot after. We cannot recommend Hardings highly enough!

My husband and I had such an amazing experience getting married at the Barn on Walnut Hill in August 2022. Everything about the venue was absolutely perfect, from the farmhouse to the barn and ceremony grove and everything else about this beautiful property. My bridesmaids and I stayed at the farmhouse the night before the wedding and my husband and I stayed there the night of the wedding. The house is beautifully decorated and a lovely setting for photos but also comfortable and functional. The ceremony grove was a stunning setting for our ceremony and we loved having dinner outside under a tent and dancing in the barn. Essie and Mike were fantastic to work with and so helpful. We would absolutely recommend this venue!

We loved having our wedding dinner and party at The Lemont Hall. I was worried about acoustics but it worked well with their AV system for both speeches, toasts and music for dancing. Aaron, Cleo and Madison are super friendly and responsive, and also accommodating to requests. Our 80 guests oooh'ed and ahh'ed when they entered the hall and we had enough room for seating, buffet and dancing.

How much do wedding & reception venues cost?

The cost of wedding venues varies, with factors influencing cost including size, location, guest count, and, most importantly, whether things like catering and rentals are included. The more a reception venue near you includes, the higher the cost. When considering venues, try to compare prices apples-to-apples. If one venue includes catering and rentals in their pricing and the other doesn’t, you need to figure out how much additional cost those outside vendors would be to make a true comparison. Before booking, be sure you’re aware of additional costs outlined in your contract, like parking fees and weather-related considerations (adding a tent, etc.).

What questions should we ask wedding venues?

When talking with a potential venue, always ask about 1) their availability and 2) their capacity. Some popular venues book up peak season Saturdays nearly 2 years in advance—if your first choice date isn’t available, consider your flexibility on day of the week and year. While maximum capacity is non-negotiable, venues might have guidance on what guest count will be most comfortable. Also, you’ll want to understand what is and is not included in the venue’s fees.
