D’Taste of Elegance

My love for creating custom treats started about 3 years ago as I was planning my daughters birthday party. I decided to make Chocolate Covered Strawberries and Chocolate Apples as her party favors. I had so much fun with that experience that every week from then on I learned how to create new desserts and began making treats for family and friends for all occasions.

My hobby soon turned into my passion. In April of 2014 I began taking orders and started my business DJ's Sweet Treats. At this point I was making custom treats on the weekend, but still working my full time job as a Revenue Analyst. While learning new techniques and adding more treats to my menu, I ultimately had to decide between working my full-time job or the pursuit of expanding my business full-time. May 2016 my husband and I decided it was time for me to take my business full-time and quit my job. At this point I re-branded and became D Taste of Elegance.
