Our custom-designed cakes range from traditional tiered wedding cakes to one-of-a-kind creations. Everything served at Empire Cake is made fresh daily on the premises using the finest ingredients, including fresh butter and cream from quality local producers, pure whole vanilla beans, Belgian chocolate, and fresh seasonal produce from the Union Square Greenmarket. Our cake consultants can help you build your dream cake for any of life’s celebrations, large or small.
Empire Cake has been featured in Brides, People Magazine, the Today Show, Beat Bobby Flay and more. Beyond cakes, we feature fresh-baked cupcakes, cookies, brownies and bars, and sophisticated versions of classic snack treats, including our own “twinkies,” “snowballs” and Swiss rolls.

Empire Cake packages
Cake Tasting
Price$45
We offer tastings and consultations for custom cakes budgeted at $500 or above. Each tasting can accommodate you and two other guests. During a tasting, one of our cake consultants will provide samples of six flavors that you choose in advance from our Cake Menu and discuss your ideas and inspirations.

What a cake!
We had a great experience working with Empire Cakes! They were easy to communicate with, very helpful about getting us to describe our vision for the cake, and created an absolutely beautiful and delicious wedding cake for us. Guests were coming up to compliment us on the cake throughout the night. Highly recommend!
Impressive cake for a big wedding in the big city
When we were deciding on a wedding cake vendor for our 200-person wedding, we chose Empire Cakes given their many years of experience…and we’re so happy we did! The cake they delivered was not only more beautiful as expected, but even more delicious than what we tasted during the cake tasting!
