The first wedding we catered was our own! Hi, we are Jen and Brandon, and we created Elysian Events to share our love of the exceptional cuisine of Louisiana with you. We have been a part of many special events since that first one, and we always bring our passion and decades of professional hospitality experience to meet every occasion. We were married shortly before launching Elysian Events in the fall of 2013. Our lifelong careers in restaurants and hospitality have made catering a natural fit for us. We have been a part of many events along the way, and every one has been a great experience that we wouldn’t trade for anything. When we aren't creating special events, you can find us at St. Roch Market and Auction House Market where we are serving fresh Gulf seafood and oysters every day. Food and hospitality are our passions. We love helping to create something special and look forward to doing the same for you!

    Hands down the best and easiest vendor to work with! I can’t recommend them enough, Elysian Events truly went above and beyond to make our day so special. First and foremost - the food was absolutely delicious. We were so impressed by the amazing menu options, it was very difficult to choose because everything sounded so good! We heard nothing but rave reviews from our guests about how impeccable the food was. We had several guests who were vegan and gluten-free. Elysian Events gave us numerous options on their menu to choose from, and also worked with us to swap ingredients around to be more GF/V friendly - like tortilla chips instead of pita in the hors d'oeuvre or making sure the dressing on the salad was vegan friendly. It was so important for us to provide a delicious meal to our guests with dietary restrictions, Elysian Events made it so easy! Amelia is a rockstar. We were on a tight budget and I did much of the planning and coordinating myself. Amelia walked us through everything and quickly responded to all of our questions, big and small - from catering options, to menu signage, trash, making sure we had a stand for the cake, and more! Elysian Events also went above and beyond to accommodate us with a regional wedding tradition. In my part of Ohio we have a cookie table tradition, where the family makes dozens and dozens of cookies. In my case my mom and Aunt drove about 600 cookies down! Elysian Events not only helped by supplying trays for the cookies, but to tray them and set them out once dinner service was complete. I’m so grateful for how incredibly accommodating they were and how seamless everything was. I can’t recommend them enough!

    Elysian Events Catering was great! All of our wedding food was absolutely delicious, everything came out on time and they were so helpful and responsive throughout our whole wedding planning process. They even made sure to bring us a plate after our ceremony which was much appreciated! 10/10 recommend!

    I love working with Jen & Brandon and the whole Elysian team! Their food is creative and delicious, and I always enjoy the classic NOLA dishes they put together with super fresh seafood and elevated details, like toasted horseradish! They're also open to creating menu items for specific client requests, from a french fry bar to custom beignet toppings. It's always fun to work with them, and our clients are always very happy!

    I have loved this team since the first time we worked together. We have worked together many times since and they are truly great! I could not ask for better food, presentation or service!
