Hello! My name is Alexis and I am a wedding photographer serving Washington DC, Northern Virginia, and destinations beyond. I create natural, elegant, artful wedding photography for the adventurous, romantic, classic couple in love. I have eight years of professional wedding photography experience. I've had the opportunity of capturing the most achingly beautiful love stories around the globe, from intimate chapel weddings in Greek villages, traditional cathedral weddings in the city, and now the large familial celebrations in the iconic capital city of Washington DC.
I am also a wife and mom with deep Mediterranean roots. I strongly value faith, family, culture, and tradition. I strive to give an excellent client experience start to finish and quality images that are worth passing down from generation to generation. Together we will create timeless, romantic images that tell the joyful story of your marriage and your family as it continues to grow.

Professional, Honest and Talented Photographer!
Alexis was such a joy to work with! From our first email with her, she has been so responsive and willing to work with our needs! My fiancé and I were wanting to do a destination engagement photoshoot in DC and Alexis truly helped us bring our vision to life. We were initially a little nervous because 1) this was our first shoot and 2) we both were not from the area, but the minute we met Alexis in person, we felt so at ease. We are SO happy with our pictures and cannot stop looking at them!!! She truly has an eye for capturing picture-perfect moments :) Thank you Alexis for making this process so easy and so efficient! There is truly no one better than Alexis El Massih. There are so many qualities we love about Alexis, we could list a million, but our favorites are her compassion, empathy, kindness, love, and honesty. She is an incredibly talented photographer and artist. She is able to capture images that will blow you away. Our engagement session with Alexis was our first time working with her, but when we received our images back, we were beyond excited to have the opportunity to work with her again on our wedding day. Our wedding day album is filled with photos of the little details, the love, our families, and the dance floor - the images capture our wedding perfectly. We look back at the photos often and fondly! We have MANY of them printed and hanging in our home. Fast forward, Alexis just captured the MOST precious photos of our growing family. We have recommended Alexis to all of our loved ones and will continue to do so!

Alexis was the most amazing photographer that we could ask for. Throughout our whole wedding planning process, she was there for us, giving inspiration and helping us find the style that was "us". She was incredibly professional and knowledgeable in our planning calls, during the engagement shoots, and throughout our wedding weekend. She sent us our engagement photos in a very timely manner, and set sneak peak photos very soon after our wedding so we could already relive the magic. We are just so impressed with everything she did. We also heard nothing but amazing things about her from my guests and other vendors. My husband and I now have beautiful classic photos that feel so timeless and artistic. We really recommend Alexis to be your photographer for your special day, because she truly cares, and her love and talent shows through all her photos!

Alexis is a fantastic photographer and made me and my fiancé feel cared for from start to finish. She started with a call to get to know us as a couple and provided style tips for the session. At the session we could see her creativity and joy, which made us feel at ease and excited to be there. She did a wonderful job deciding on our poses and scenery, which was a lot of fun. Alexis also has a user-friendly website to view the pictures, as well as to favorite and compare them. We highly recommend her and loved her work!
