Hello there new friend! My name is Jo and it is SO great to meet you! I am a wedding, elopement... and pretty much all things love- photographer based in the incredible city of Boston, Massachusetts! I'm a hopeless romantic at heart! And if there's one thing in this life that I absolutely adore, it's a GOOD love story. If I had to pick a second thing, it would be working with couples that are authentic, joyful, and unapologetically themselves. So as you can imagine, weddings and elopements are my absolute FAVORITE! Joining along on the happiest day of your life is a dream, and I adore all the moments I get to share with my couples!

I am a "laid back and let moments happen" kind of photographer, an "I want you to actually have a good time while shooting" kind of photographer, and all of that while being a "I plan to help you LOOK LIKE A ROCKSTAR" kind of photographer! Every love story is so freakin' unique, as is every single couple I work with! And whether you are planning a full blown wedding shindig, or an intimate & quiet elopement amidst a few friends...     Jo and Amanda were the best team. Jo took so much time leading up to the wedding to find out what we wanted most, the vibe of us and our wedding and they did exactly that. We haven’t received them yet (it was just 2 days ago) but already know the captured it perfectly! From additional shots we added on to making sure we got some outdoor pictures without ruining my dress.. the care that they took was so impressive and we could not be more grateful. We all felt so comfortable and at ease. Bold As Love is the best you could ever dream of.

    Jovani was a wonderful photographer to work with. From the beginning she was very open, warm, and willing to work with me on my wedding photography. My husband has a low tolerance for formal pictures and we both have large extended families to organize for photos. Jovani was excellent at keeping track of what group pictures we wanted, and helped us get most of them done before the ceremony so that afterwards we could just mingle with our guests. Most of all, the photos we got back (very quickly!) were STUNNING. The color and lighting was gorgeous and exactly the kind of golden hour, New England fall afternoon that I wanted. I would absolutely recommend her to my best friend.

    When I look back on my wedding experience and wedding planning experience, I say with absolute confidence, the most gratitude, and just the biggest sense of, ‘how lucky were we?!’ that hiring Jo / Bold as Love Studios as our photographer was the best decision we made. She is truly the whole package: phenomenal human being, amazing and consistent attention to detail, and her photos are STUNNING. Going into the process of finding a photographer, I knew how important it was, and I also had no idea what to expect. I was overwhelmed. Should you really feel a personal connection? Can they really help as a wedding planning guide? Is this really one of the most important decisions? Let me tell you bluntly, YES, YES, and YES. But also, if you’re here, look no further. You have truly found the best in the business, full stop. I vividly remember the first call my husband and I had with Jo as being so natural, relaxing, and fun. She made us excited about the process that was to come. Jo’s warmth, kindness, bubbly, fun-loving personality came through immediately and put us both at ease. She is so easy to talk to, and you know what else? She LOVES what she does. She LOVES her couples! We felt it immediately, her pure joy and passion for her wedding photography simply put her in a different league. But wait, there’s more, I’m not done. Jo’s attention to detail is, simply put, out of this world. She is a master at what she does! From the moment you send an inquiry form to her, she is with you every step of the way. Wedding planning can be overwhelming, the day itself can be overwhelming - if you hire Jo as your photographer, you can rest assured you will be taken care of to the utmost extent possible. She works with so many couples, but we never would have known! We always, always felt like her number one priority, she always kept us on track, and she always helped us manage whatever details we had questions on. Finally, the final product. Your wedding photos. Jo’s work is stunning. She captured the love and joy felt on my wedding day in such an intimate, beautiful way. My wedding photos feel alive, I see both my truest self and my husband’s truest self in them, as well as all of our friends and family. I see love in a way I didn’t realize was possible to see shine through in a photograph. I reiterate that I truly believe hiring Jo was the best decision we made. If you are lucky enough that she is free on your date, I cannot recommend her highly enough. You will have the most beautiful wedding photos and a vendor partnership in which you can trust, relax, and have fun. I’m so excited for you!!!!!

    Jo did such an amazing job photographing our wedding on 10/21! There are so many perfect photos that I don't know how I will ever choose a handful to print! Jo was so fun to be with throughout the whole day, and kept me calm. She stuck to our timeline perfectly and all of the wedding party said she was so easy to work with. 1000% recommend her to other brides! Thank you Jo!!!
