I'm a Wedding photographer based in Northern Illinois - My photo aesthetic is probably best described as an earth toned Cinematic. Style of shooting??? Basicalllyyy editorial with minor prompting for those select few that are camera shy. Trust me - I want you to look good so you can see your pretty face on this site front & center! I took a break for a while being a mom of a few wildlings, moved across the country with the love of my life and just finding out how much I missed home & how amazing the people are around me in the right areas. Love to travel, bucket list is still Joshua Tree in California + ALWAYS Colorado!

I think what sets me apart from other photographers in our area is that I really have the drive to get that forever shot. The one where you go… DAMN she really stood outside in -35° below and got that shot of us… she did the damn thing. WORTH IT.

    Hey brides! Just giving a heads up for anyone looking to book with Element Photography (Lexi Gloria) it has been nothing but a headache working with her which is really unfortunate because we liked our initial conversation with her (despite her telling us from the getgo about negative reviews online which should’ve been a red flag lol). She showed up the day of to shoot my wedding in yoga pants, a sloppy wrinkly top and looking like she just rolled out of bed, not very professional in my opinion. Over two months later (and past her time frame in the signed contract) no pictures, she’s even said to me the gallery is done but she refused to send them “not one second before” a random due by date she gave me. The day of she chewed my ear off while waiting to walk down the aisle, while I was paying her to take photos, about her children and personal issues including her mental health disorders and how she lost her job and bad mouthed past clients for “only tipping 20.” It was all just very unprofessional. Four weeks after my wedding she sent me an invoice without any context with unapproved or previously discussed charges. Every time I’ve tried to question something she failed to do she responds that I must have misunderstood and I’m “treating her badly.” Even when copy and pasting from her contract she tried to talk in circles around it and prolong delivering photos or trying to scam more money out of me. We finally got the photos and many shots were missing of people/groups important to us, kinda hard now to feel like that was intentional. Many of the “final” photos my husband’s eyes are closed or someone is making a weird face. Beware who you book with. She really turned this into a sour experience so I’d hate for any other brides to have such a negative experience too. She has other reviews on The Knot of other brides who she ghosted as well as on Google so I know this isn’t just a one time thing.

    Alexandra and Adam were just AMAZING. They truly made our wedding photos come to life and allowed us to relive our beautiful moment looking back at our album. There is nobody else we could’ve chosen to do a better job than this beautiful couple. They are truly amazing and just phenomenal. THANK YOU for allowing us to relive our special day through YOUR work!

    As someone who is always behind the camera, never in front, my experience with Element Photography couldn't have been better. I felt relaxed and at ease, and the results were amazing. We had a blast during the shoot and have lasting memories capturing it all. 10/10!
