I began my photo career in the commercial world. I photographed for many ad agencies, fashion clients and magazines. When I segued into the wedding world, I brought that style of fashion photography and lighting with me.

I truly feel that relationships are key to excellent photos. My clients become my friends, leading up to, during, and after their weddings. I don't ever want to work with a couple that refers to me as their photographer. I want them to drop the formal vendor/client wall. I'm just John and we are gonna have fun. I promise.

    John's photography work (both the shooters & editing) is definitely among the best in the region. We interviewed probably a dozen or more photographers, and we're extremely happy that we booked John and his team. We have very, very high standards for wedding photos and we were nervous we wouldn't be able to hit that with our wedding budget. Thankfully John delivered and even went above and beyond in working and planning with us to capture some truly incredible memories. Don't skimp out on the photos!

    Where do I begin? When I started looking for a photographer I had an idea of what I was looking for, but when I saw John's photos I instantly knew that I had to have him as my wedding photographer! From the first video call that we had with John, my fiancé and I were certain we chose the right person. He was so laid back, and listened to what we wanted to capture in our photos. If we had a question he was quick to respond in detail. The day of my wedding it rained all morning and John helped us to take the most amazing pictures. Everyone at the wedding loved his attitude, and personality. He made everyone feel so comfortable in front of the camera. The B&W booth was the best decision we made. If you are on the fence about adding it, it is totally worth it! We have some of the best pictures of our friends and family from the B&W booth. The wedding pictures took a bit to get, but it was absolutely worth the wait, and John will tell you up front how long he thinks it will take. If you are looking for someone who can provide absolutely stunning pictures and has an amazing personality and easy going vibe. You found your photographer in John. Nicole and Stephan

    John and his team were a delight to work with and well worth the investment. We first met John when he was the photographer for a friend's wedding and were impressed with the quality of his work. We hired him for our wedding and did not regret our decision for a second. Prior to the wedding, John worked with us to devise a schedule that fit our rather unique needs. He even went to the reception venue itself to meet with the staff and view the space for himself as well as scope out the neighborhood to determine good locations for outdoor photos. On the day of the wedding, John and his team were punctual and professional. Throughout the day, we felt relaxed and were able to be ourselves. At no point did we feel like we had to stop what we were doing to pose for a shot. The B&W set at the reception was a hit!

    I immediately considered John Barone for my November 2023 wedding - remembering the beautiful photos he shared from my brothers December 2017 wedding. John was quick to respond when I reached out to him, extremely professional, and very personable! He made us feel comfortable, not only on the day of our wedding, but the days leading up to him making sure everything was coordinated with the venue/coordinator. Denida, John’s sidekick, not only helped John beautifully capture our day, but was also there when my grandfather got sick and performed CPR. Crazy!!! All around - top notch!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
