I have always loved working with people. Making others happy makes me happy. I also love taking photos. Turning emotions and memories into beautiful, tangible items that can be enjoyed forever. I became a photographer to combine these two passions into something that's more than a just a job. It's my way of giving back, being a part of my community, and making the world a more wonderful place.

My goal is to capture your wedding as honestly and authentically as possible. Your wedding is about you, not my instagram feed. I will give some posing and staging direction at strategic moments during the day, but will mostly remain as unobstrusive as possible in the background, so you can LIVE your day and not just pose for it. Every photo is edited individually to be as natural and true-to-life as possible -- no presets or generic filters here!

    Katie photographed our December wedding and captured the day beautifully. It was so amazing to get to look at all of the pictures and relive the moments. The photos are beautifully done. She is amazing at making everyone feel comfortable so that you can get gorgeous natural looking photos! She gave us so many memories that we will cherish forever!! She is the best photographer I have ever met and we were so blessed to have her photograph our wedding!

    This review is a bit delayed, but I wanted to make sure I took the time to express how much I loved having Katie as my wedding photographer. Katie did a pre-wedding photo session with me and my husband in April, and our wedding in September. I was so happy with the results from both! We had a small enough wedding that we didn't feel the need for a second photographer. Katie got so may beautiful shots and managed to capture so many special moments for being the only photographer on site! I was so impressed with all of the photos. I am still looking through them and finding new favorites! Katie even took the time during the busy holiday season to edit a couple of pictures I was excited to print and hang up, and the edits also came out beautifully. I know that we will be reaching out to Katie again to capture more special moments as our lives progress and our new family grows! Katie, thank you so much for beautifully capturing out memories!

    My wife and I worked with Katie for our small wedding in Middleburg VA. Katie was THE BEST to work with. Katie arrived early and got started taking photos of the groom and the best man. Katie was able to ease any jitters before the wedding with her easy going and friendly personality. Next she took photos of the bride and the maid of honour before moving onto group photos. Katie captured all the emotions during our wedding ceremony before moving onto family photos and cocktail hour. Throughout the wedding, Katie was able to capture all of the important moments! The best part was how Katie was able to take the cutest photos of the bride, groom and also our golden retriever (who had plenty of energy!) who made an appearance for part of the evening. Those photos turned out great! (& even made our Christmas cards!) Katie took excellent photos. The photos came out crystal clear and were very high quality. Would highly recommend Katie and would work with her again!

    Katie was an absolute blessing on our wedding day! She is incredibly talented and kind. She was wonderful at helping us pose and feel comfortable in front of the camera and also taking so many candid shots! She was adaptable, encouraging, and made us feel comfortable and ease. She provided us with so many different pictures that I will never get tired of looking at. She has a wonderful eye for beautiful pictures and is willing to suggest ideas and/or do whatever you want in the best way possible! I genuinely cannot recommend her enough!!
