I'm a portrait & wedding photographer based out of Northern Virginia - but I'm always down to travel. I love real, candid moments and capturing all the details. I love small and intimate or backyard weddings.

I take a very select few weddings per year. You won't be just another one of thirty couples I'm working with in a given year. I provide a truly personalized experience, love to focus on just a few couples at a time, and love to help you with planning your day. My style is true-to-life colors (no orange skin tones here!) with a love of crisp, high detail shots, which will be timeless for years to come.

    Melissa was one of the best parts of our wedding! She was so wonderful to work with before, during and after our big day.     My husband and I had an elopement-style photo session with Melissa to document something for our wedding, as we got married legally but never had a wedding or any photos. I had a vision in mind and she made it come to life. Our photos were everything I could have dreamed of and more. She was a breeze to work with and our session was really fun. I only wish I could have hired for her an actual wedding day!
