I am a simple person with a lot of love + passion for my family, photography, and God. I spent a majority of my life in West Des Moines, Iowa but relocated to Minnetonka, Minnesota in 2013. After graduating from Iowa State University in 2018, I chose to pursue my dream career: photography. I am married to my best friend, Garrett, and together we have a daughter named Elsie + a german shepherd named Ryder. When I'm at home you can find me cuddling with my little fam or binge watching The Office! I can never say no to an adventure, a cup of coffee, the lake or a road trip with friends.

I am heavily inspired by human connection and the in-between moments. Not only am I a photographer, but I’m also a friend & storyteller. While I enjoy taking "posed" photos, I am most passionate about capturing emotion and raw moments that cannot be recreated. I want to capture your story so you are able to relive the day over and over again.

    Rachel was so great to work with! She covered our multi-day wedding and made us feel so comfortable during the posed photos. She was professional and so kind. The quality of her photos are unbelievable! They were truly stunning! I could not be happier with how our photos turned out. She managed to capture so much that happened at our wedding, even the things that I didn't see as the bride which was great to see in our photo album. She is an amazing photographer and I highly recommend her!!

    Rachel was so much fun to work with and she made me, my husband, and our entire wedding party feel super comfortable. She took really amazing shots that really captured many of the special moments from that day. She has a great eye and she paid great attention to even the smallest of details. Not only is her work stunning, but she also was professional and very quick to turn around our pictures. She even accommodated us with a very special request for us. Shortly after our wedding after we had received some unfortunate news about one of our best friends that was in the wedding party, and she dropped everything to provide us with whatever shots she had of him so that we could share them at his memorial service. I would highly recommend her to anyone that is looking for a photographer!

    Rachel is so talented and made everything so fun and comfortable. Not to mention she is incredibly professional and does an amazing job at communication! We knew our photos would be perfect from our first contact with her; it’s so apparent how dedicated she is to her work. She makes her clients feel like a priority and returns photos in a timely manner. Overall a dream to work with!!
