Combining a fine art approach with a documentary style, I will deliver you a photo collection that will feel authentically raw but with editorial elements. My approach to weddings is really to read the energy of your group, listen to your wants and expectations and to document accordingly. I then step in with more hands on direction for the bride and groom portraits, wedding party photos and family photos.

I will always provide recommendations for ways you can maximize your investment and the locations I believe will be most impactful photographically, but I will never try to control your schedule or the details on your day. Your wedding should be exactly how you picture it and I pride myself in being described by clients as laid back, flexible and easy to work with.

    Renske is an incredible photographer with an eye for light and genuine moments. She has an unbelievably fantastic style and was willing to hike with us up a huge mountain with a forecast of 100ºF weather to do our engagement photos. Although we are a pretty awkward couple without photoshoot experience, our photos are worthy of being published in Rocky Mountain Bride's blog (they shared our photos September 2021!) We are amazed at the way our pictures turned out and clicking through the gallery all we could do was say "oh my gosh, is that really us?!" We would recommend Renske 100% with all our hearts. If we could do it again, I wouldn’t change a thing.

    Renske is absolutely the best photographer to work with! Not only does she have an eye for what looks good, she is also the kindest person to have around on your big day! Renske's photography is hands down 5/5 stars and her demeanor rates the same. I cannot stress enough how important it is to hire someone who makes you feel comfortable and eases any stress that you might have around coordinating your wedding. Renske captured beautiful photos of our wonderful day and it would not have been the same without her! I highly recommend working with Renske!
