Zach Mendez

Thanks for your interest in my work! My name is Zach, and I'd be thrilled to document your life. I live in Santa Barbara, CA (and I freaking love it here), but I also love to travel throughout California + beyond documenting events and love stories via weddings, elopements, + together sessions. In addition to being a photographer, filmmaker, and YouTuber, I’m also a trained opera singer and have been telling stories for most of my life. It is this passion for storytelling that drives my career as a wedding creative.

My goal is to tell the story of your day in an authentic, elegant, and timeless way. Thus I keep my images as true to their natural look as possible. Most of my work is made digitally, and I invest in the best equipment because image quality is something that is incredibly important to me. My digital editing style mimics the colors of 35mm film while maintaining a realistic interpretation of the day’s colors.
