About this venue

Whether you’re planning an informal dinner for 20, a black-tie awards ceremony for 100, or a cocktail reception for 200, consider hosting your event at the home of all things Andy, including his many celebrity friends. Events have the option to add gallery floors, guided tours, and studio activities. We offer an inclusive planning experience, and our rental costs include all of the following: Tables and chairs–highboy and low cocktail tables, larger round tables, lounge furniture, bar stools and chairs, basic audio visual–house sound and lighting, projection capabilities, wireless microphones, and an audio-visual tech, security, custodial services, and special-events supervision. Food and beverage are provided by our on-site exclusive caterer, and we will work with you directly to plan your menu. In addition to the event space and gallery floors, couples may choose to add guided tours and studio activities to their evening, making your celebration one-of-a-kind.

The museum’s entrance space has the look and feel of Warhol’s famous factory. Plan a one-of-a-kind corporate party, wedding reception, awards ceremony, or other special event.

The venue's grand entrance lobby serves as the reception area and exhibits floor-to-ceiling windows, grand columns and modern lighting systems. Decorating the walls are some of Andy Warhol’s famous works, which make for unlimited photo opportunities.

Main Entrance Ceremony & Reception

Description

Your ceremony would take place in our main entrance space (our event space). After the ceremony, guests would go to the theater for cocktail hour. During cocktail hour, guests have the opportunity to explore two gallery floors. In the meantime, our staff is flipping the main entrance space to be set for the reception, where guests will enjoy the rest of the evening.

In house tables and chairs, custodial services, limited technical services, entrance security, and someone from the special events office to oversee the event. Things that are prohibited: Sparklers indoors/outdoors, bubbles, dropped/tossed flower petals, confetti indoors/outside, open-flame tapered candles, popcorn, balloons, and open flames.

In most cases, we ask that nothing be hung on the walls and signage be free-standing. But that depends on the venue. Just tell us what you have in mind.

In most cases, we ask that events end by 1 a.m. Let us know if this is a problem for you event.

We partner with our exclusive caterer, Culinaire.

Yes! We love the Pittsburgh Cookie Table tradition.

Yes, they are included in our wedding package (but not in our other events packages).

You can absolutely take photographs in all event spaces. Museum gallery photography varies, however. Just ask us.

All items that come into the museum must leave the same day.

You are welcome to contract the florist and/or entertainment of your choice. We are happy to make recommendations, if needed.

Our museums have different parking operations, so please contact your event manager, who will be happy to share venue-specific information.

Yes! We can provide docent-led tours of galleries, live demonstrations, and other museum experiences for an additional fee.
