Best choice I could’ve made! Ms. Brittany was so accommodating and communicative. It was a relief knowing that if the weather was bad, we’d have a backup inside. Having a decoration room, tables, and chairs that we could use also saved us on costs!!

  • Gorgeous location - poor service/ support.

We had my daughter‘s wedding there & it turned out beautifully but it was in spite of how this venue is being run. If I was judging this venue solely on location & aesthetics, it is a 5 out of 5 - it’s gorgeous & well maintained. The scenery makes for stunning photos. The description on their website is very accurate. Every one of the staff we encountered was friendly & helpful. However this venue is only suitable if you are willing to totally DIY your wedding with absolutely no assistance from the venue or owner or if you have an experienced wedding/event planner. The issue is with the demeanor of the owner Brittany. It is at best described as begrudging/somewhat adversarial. When we first toured the facility, Brittany indicated she does not do the event planning but failed to mention she would not assist with ANYTHING regarding the venue.bShe provided an anemic list of vendors with very little information about them to help determine what kind of experience, reviews they had etc. The most communicative she ever was when she was laying out the rules and policies. Brittany gave little to no information when answering questions. It often took two or three times of asking, to get a meaningful answer. She definitely offered no suggestions, advice, direction etc. It was such a stark contrast to all of our other vendors who were upbeat, super helpful & who seemed genuinely excited to be chosen to participate the wedding. With that said some issues we encountered that we feel were significant: * The venue will not provide any dimensions of the venue space & did not have or offer to provide any seating plan options based on number of guests you have attending. This was despite repeated requests & despite examples from all of the weddings they could have pulled from. We ultimately had to travel from out of state to come measure the space ourselve & do our best to figure out the seating plan. If you give them the plan you create they will set up the tables. * The venue lends itself to mostly outdoor weddings with the reception inside. They have no meaningful back-up plan for outdoor ceremonies if it rains. It uncertain whether the staff would be made available to help if you had to pivot on the day of your wedding to move indoors. We asked this question & did not receive any clear options for what we could do in the case of rain. We had to think it happened before but we’re not given any solutions. * There is a kitchen but no oven or stove( I believe there is a microwave). They call it a caterers kitchen, which I’m sure caterers are used to working in. However I think you will find one of the biggest issues is there is no ice machine & no freezer. You have to bring in all the ice you will need & you’ll need plenty of coolers. Since this is a somewhat rural area you cannot just pop out to the store to get more ice. * They do have a decor closet but it wasn’t well organized & there is no guarantee the items you choose for your wedding will still be available by the time it’s your turn to use them. They have arches, barrels and other props but they will not position anything for you. You/your wedding planner should be prepared to move and set the items up where you want them. They will however take them down after the ceremony.

The Barn @Love Farms is a beautiful venue that lends itself to every bride's vision; it's a coordinator's dream! The building design makes everyone's day run better with plenty of room for the entire wedding party. The decor room saves every bride money, the caterer's kitchen is to die for, and few venues have multiple backup options for rain--that gives every bride a sense of peace, knowing any shower that may come will not rain out her dream day. My favorite spot is the fireplace--it is magnificent and makes a stunning backdrop for lots of things. As a planner/coordinator, I've always found the owners to be accommodating professionals who go out of their way to help make every bride's day special.

The barn at Love's Farm is one of my favorite venues! As a caterer, the kitchen is a beautiful and fully functional kitchen. It makes my job much easier when we can work in an area that accommodates our every need. The entire venue is beautiful, well kept and well managed. The owners are wonderful and very easy to work with. I highly recommend this venue for a wedding or any type of event!! We are always excited when we are hired to work at The barn at Love's Farm!!!!!
