About this venue

We are an upscale wedding venue with both inside and outside seating located directly on picturesque Lake Ontario with our 1600 square foot dock over it. The Barrack’s Inn stone center building was the first building built in the War of 1812 to be the bakery. It is on the historic national register. Inside we can seat 150 people, while outside we can seat an additional 100 people. We are happy to make any and all food requests and we feature all-inclusive packages which include: flowers, table decorating, music, photography, cake and desserts, ceremony, favors and all food and beverages.

Our main dining room is connected to our historic War of 1812 bar, which is constructed of 2’ thick stone walls, adorned with crystal chandeliers hanging in our open two-story bar with a working fireplace. This area seats an additional 50 people. Our outside patio features a 1600 sq. ft. dock with an outside bar and boardwalk. Have the wedding of your dreams at The Barrack's Inn!

$3000 to rent our entire venue for five hours and you can bring in your own food. There’s no fee if we are providing the food and beverage services and you spend a minimum of $8000.

    The Barracks Inn strives to provide the most personalized, professional, and phenomenal service to everyone who has the privilege of working with them. Kim is absolutely committed to work alongside her customers to create events which reflect them all in a beautiful and distinctive way. She is an artist in her field and crafts an atmosphere that is a picture perfect depiction of every group. She and her staff treat every single person as if they were family, and you can really feel the love she puts into her work. Her generosity never fails to amaze me, as she will spend countless hours working alongside clients in order to understand exactly what they want, going to any lengths to create it for them. She truly works to learn about her customers, and make anyone’s dream come true. When discussing events with each other, she always has a twinkle in her eye that makes me so proud to be able to work with someone so passionate and devoted to making other people happy. Any couple, family, or group thereof will share in this pride alongside me to create memories they will cherish for a lifetime.

    We had our wedding at The Barracks Inn last month (Labor Day 2022). What a beautiful venue, the view can't be beat, the reception/dinner room is beautiful, the food was wonderful. And the drinks were perfect! The owner was so accommodating with all of my quirky plans - never complained, listened to what we wanted and made it all happen. We are picky so this is really something. The sound system is great - really over the top from what you would normally expect. Dancing on the beautiful deck that sits out on the water was heaven. We could have danced until dawn. I heartily recommend this venue and Kim (the owner) as "the" place to have your wedding, anniversary party, birthday party, or just a party party! You will be very pleased with the whole process.
