The Majestic Theater 's historic theater and ballroom is perfect for your wedding ceremony and reception. Offering a classic and affordable venue, we have hosted large and small weddings, graduations, and corporate events. Plus, for destination weddings and travelers, we are just a short walk from The Continental Hotel, a beautiful boutique hotel and restaurant.

Be the star of your wedding

Built during the silent-movie era, our gorgeously restored historic movie theater is sure to impress. The large chandeliers on either side of the stage are a striking luxury in the midst of small-town Iowa. In addition to wedding ceremonies, our fully-equipped theater is perfect for performances, film screenings, and concerts.

See your name in lights! Host your wedding at our vintage silent movie theater and event venue. With this package you get our entire building--second floor historic ballroom and speakeasy-style bar and historic theater venue from 9 am-5 pm Friday, 9am–Midnight Saturday, and 9 am-5 pm Sunday.

    Sabrina and Alison are an absolute Joy to work with. They are very easy to work with and are quick to answer any questions. The venue is a big beautiful ball room with tall ceilings. It has a cute little bar too.
