Tricia Coyne is a freelance photographer and multimedia journalist currently based in Charlotte, NC. She graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Journalism and Communications. Following graduation, she was hired as a staff multimedia journalist at The Gainesville Sun, a New York Times regional company, and also continued her work as a contract photo assistant for Sports Illustrated. In 2010, she moved to Jackson Hole, where she had the privilege of working with the Emmy award-winning media company, Brain Farm Cinema, as a post-production editor for the documentary snowboarding film, “The Art of Flight.”
She has been recognized by the Society of Professional Journalists, National Press Photographers Association, and the Hearst Journalism Awards Program. Her work has been featured in publications around the nation, including The New York Times, The Miami Herald, Sports Illustrated, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel and the Charlotte Observer. She specializes in documentary-style photography and videography and is available for freelance photography and video work worldwide.
