I'm originally from East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania but I've lived all over the country and have finally landed in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. My personal hobbies include rock climbing, learning French, fine-tuning my espresso skills, and drinking the best wine I can get my hands on (yes, if you're getting married at a winery, I'm interested!). I've been photographing weddings since 2009 (that's 15 years!) and I'm still not even the least bit bored. Hell, I still cry at weddings on a regular basis. Staying emotional and in the moment is what allows me to capture the moments that matter most to my couples.

I describe my style as intimate, relaxed, colorful, and most importantly, timeless. I want you to love your wedding album in 10 years just as much as you do when I deliver it and not cringe when you see all the trendy angles and editing presets. I love natural light, but I also know how to rock my speedlights when the sun goes down and you hit the dance floor.

Speaking candidly, my (now) husband and I went into the photography search with our guard up as one of our best friends is a photography. But after searching around and a few rounds of communications I knew Rima would be the style and demeanor of a wedding day vendor we were searching for. From the beginning she was easy going yet extremely organized and on top of communication. When it came to the day of I don’t want to pick favorites but Rima was by far our favorite vendor. She truly helped add to the calmness of the day (minus one small incident but she helped keep the party in like and calm even then!) and her direction and help in posing and being loose showed in the final product. Would 10/10 use Rima again and hope to have the chance to recommend her to friends in the future.

I’ve known and worked with Brindamour Photography over the past few years. Rima puts everyone at ease, even camera shy nerds like me. She and her company seem to always capture the shot. They’re phone number circulates through many friend groups as “this is who you hire” kind of thing. I’m a small business owner and work w a very discerning clientele. They always come back raving. I recommend a second photographer for weddings with 100+ guests and/or for when you and your partner are not getting ready at the same location. For couples who are interested in photos that require advanced lighting setups, I will often recommend an assistant to help set up lights, allowing us to be more efficient with your portrait time. This assistant can double as your photobooth attendant later in the evening!

Yes, we can include video in any of our wedding packages. Just ask!

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability and I’ll send that over to them.

I deliver previews within 2 weeks and final galleries within 4-6 weeks.

You can expect about 50 images per hour of shooting. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

All final images will be color corrected and retouched to ensure they look their best!

Typically, couples book me about one year before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible to ensure I still have your date available.

In my 13+ years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to shoot your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
