This wedding was a designed with the intention of paying homage to their Jewish religion and family upbringing while incorporating a relaxed summer evening ambiance. We used candlelight, vintage string bulbs, and Moroccan lanterns for a warm glow under a night sky. Each of the tables incorporated dried lavender, natural grasses, burlap, escort cards tied to mason jars for assigned seating, chalkboard signs for tables numbers labeled with cities the couple had traveled to as well family style food service for a comfortable feel.
They are a great compliment to each other. They both have incredible drive and perseverance and are at times head strong but show each other grace and respect that is evident in the gentle way they are towards each other. They are each other's best friend.
Britni and Orry met at random and tested the potential of their relationship through travel experiences, living in different cities , perusing separate prestigious careers, all the while maintaining a normal dating love story. I am not a parent yet ,but would imagine their folks are incredible proud of their ability to find themselves as well as a loving other half, without sacrificing their ambitions.
Britni had incredible ideas and really understood the importance of the every detail. She was an integral part of designing the wedding and I never felt like something was too small for her to see the impact and a reason to incorporate. There was so much to discover when attending this wedding. From the travel specific table numbers to the vintage water bottles...every step was thought out.
Right now the couple resides in New York City and just returned from a 3 week travel honeymoon and are no doubt setting goals for their next great adventure
