A little rain never hurt anybody and thank goodness for that! Leslie and Andrew's sweet celebration became a bit more special with the addition of a few rain clouds, but with some matching umbrella's, cheerful faces, and a precious couple madly in love...nothing was stopping this wedding day from being a hit! Thanks to Blue Planet Green Events, this special day was flawless, despite the rain. Such a beautiful outdoor ceremony, with Spanish moss falling all around and flowers full of beautiful, rich colors that set the tone for the day. Leslie and Andrew, thank you for sharing your sweet celebration and also showing us that even through the rain, love will always abound!
From the photographer...
Leslie and Andrew love the natural beauty, charm, and culinary delights of the Lowcountry and wanted to incorporate that into their nuptials. Cobalt blue, purple, coral, and chartreuse, with a hint of lime set a lively tone in the design.
Andrew is a talented architect at Novus Architects in Mt. Pleasant. He is also an amateur cartoonist who even created a cartoon of his recollection of their engagement story.
Leslie has a keen eye for design and is an Interior Design Faculty Member at the Art Institute of Charleston & Design Manager at SieMatic downtown.
Leslie and Andrew both like to read and spend time with good friends. When the weather is nice, they like to be outside, either taking bike rides to the beach, shooting some hoops, playing cornhole, or cheering on the Kansas basketball team.
Leslie, originally from Kansas, met Andrew on her second day in Charleston when they both worked for an architecture firm in Mt. Pleasant. They quickly became friends, spent quite a bit of time together including playing kickball, and starting dating a couple months later (urged on by their friends).
Leslie and Andrew recently bought their first home together. Considering they are both designers and architects, they will stay busy beautifying their space.
