There is a certain sweetness about the South that makes us fall in love with all its charms and grace over and over again, and this soirée from a wedding vendor is a perfect example of just that. From start to finish, this entire spring day was pure Charleston wedding perfection, and we could get lost in the beauty of all for the rest of the afternoon. Simple, fresh, white details and a getaway car as classic as they come are the finishing touches to this day, and we can't wait for y'all to scroll through each and every image!

From the photographer... While attending a mutual friend’s Christmas party, Tricia and Matt met over a game of UNO. “Matt wouldn’t let me win!” Tricia wrote. The serendipitous card game led to them exchanging numbers and the rest is history. For their wedding, they wanted a relaxed Charleston cocktail themed affair. Guests arrived for an early afternoon ceremony on the lawn of the Wickliffe House accompanied by refreshing pre-ceremony mimosas. Instead of a traditional tiered wedding cake, the couple opted for a series of eclectic cakes that included toppings of coconut, blueberry, and raspberry. A spring palette of white and sage accented table linens, accessories, and the wedding invitation. Rather than a lace or tulle-laden bridal dress, Tricia wanted a classic gown. Her strapless silk dress is a timeless chic look created by Paloma Blanca. After mimosas, champagne, an assortment of cakes, and dancing, the couple departed in a vintage Dodge car.
