I’m a wedding photographer, marathon runner, expert parallel parker and occasional alpaca farmer. I’m lucky to be married to an amazing husband and “Uncle” to my nieces and nephew. I love conversations over coffee or a glass of wine, adding to my houseplant collection (#crazyplantlady) and traveling to new destinations near and far. When I’m not behind the camera or my computer, you can find me running, skiing, riding my bike around Denver, or enjoying a beverage on a patio somewhere.

    Libbie Holmes was recommended to us from our venue (Wedgewood Boulder Creek), and we looked over her portfolio and felt like she had the right vibe that we wanted for our photos. We did an engagement session first - which I super super recommend to anyone especially if you have never had photos taken like this before, if only to get comfortable with the idea of having your photo taken and to get to know your photographer. I was super nervous to get my photos taken but the engagement photo session helped ease that a lot, and they came out beautifully, which got me really excited for the actual wedding photos. On the day of our wedding, Libbie and her other photographer were fantastic. We got all of the amazing shots that we wanted and more. Other than our specifically posed photos, I never really thought about having photographers around - it wasn't distracting or took away from the emotions of the event. We got our photos back so much quicker than we thought we would, and they are incredible. Libbie captured the emotions, the vibe, the details, so perfectly, that I can relive the highlights of that day every time I look at them - which is great because I was in such a heightened emotional state that I couldn't really "enjoy" it at the time!

    Not only are Libbie's photos AMAZING but she makes sure her couples feel comfortable and have fun on wedding day. We have seen her work with so many couples and everyone has said nothing but great things about her and her team. As an event venue she is also great to work with because she makes sure to get all the photos the couples want in the sometimes short amount of time that she has. We wish all of our couples would book Libbie since she makes wedding day easy and fun!

    Due to the pandemic, our original photographer back out 2 weeks before the wedding. A friend recommended Libbie, and she was our photographer savior. She was extremely flexible in planning everything 2 weeks in advance, was super communicative and one of the best vendors we worked with. And her photographs also came out INCREDIBLE!! We love each and everyone one of them and are so grateful for Libbie! 10 out 10 would 100% hire again.
