Lizzie & Zach’s wedding in Denver had tons of cute personal touches. We love Lizzie’s rose gold and diamond earrings and fun hair accessory combined with her dress’s open back and low button detail. J. La Plante Photo captured the men’s bright yellow boutonnieres and bright red bridesmaids dresses created cheerful pops of color. We love how the group of hanging glass jars each with a single rose set the backdrop for the wedding ceremony; what a unique and beautiful personal touch. The couple planted a little garden as part of their ceremony. We also love the paper crane modern artwork decorating the reception space (Zach folded all 1000 himself!). Additionally, the couple chose to forgo a traditional wedding cake in favor of a fun cupcake table. This wedding is such a great example of adding meaningful personal touches to create the perfect wedding for you.

    From the Photographer...

Lizzie and Zach's wedding in Golden perfectly blended casual elegance with Colorado's stunning natural beauty. With so many handmade touches by the bride, groom, and their friends and family, their ceremony and reception reflected Lizzie and Zach's personalities and the life they'd already begun building together. We were particularly in awe of the 1000 cranes that Zach folded and made into a centerpiece for the reception. According to a Japanese legend, anyone who folds 1000 origami cranes will be blessed with enduring good luck. Other highlights at the wedding included bouquets assembled by Lizzie's bridesmaids, hanging bottles with flowers inside as the backdrop for the ceremony (made by Zach, strung up by the best man and groomsman), and table numbers featuring their favorite local microbrews.
