    Yumiko and her entire team at Hana Floral Design is hands down one of our very most favorite florists in the industry. When we are working on a project together, we know we are working in a truly collaborative environment, where the clients' vision is the number one priority. Her work is fresh, natural, creative, sophisticated and elegant. She and her team are also professional, reliable, courteous and helpful. But most importantly - beyond her talent, success and work ethic - Yumiko is a fun, vibrant, kind-hearted woman who pours her heart into everything she does!

    Yumiko at Hana Floral Design was one of the first vendors I really clicked with during my wedding planning experience, and the rest was history! I am so glad I found her early in the planning process. Her ability to understand and execute my tropical-inspired wedding vision gave me full confidence that my wedding would be success. Throughout the process, Yumiko easily adapted to new ideas, took feedback in stride, offered helpful (really helpful) ideas, and seamlessly communicated with my other vendors to turn my vision into a reality. She had awesome connections (helped to find my amazing photographer) and she went above and beyond to turn our blank canvas of a tent and transform it into a tropical, island chic space. I felt so incredibly lucky to work with her, and throughout called her the VIP of my wedding day. She is amazing, truly the best!!!!!

    The minute we booked our wedding location in Mystic. We knew we wanted Yumiko & the Hana Floral team to do our flowers. We had seen her stuff on Instagram and knew she would knock it out of the park... and boyyyy did they! We wanted our flowers to stand out and when we showed Yumiko a photo of a really cool flower we saw online she immediately took it and ran. The flower ended up being a King Ice Protea... it was the centerpiece of all of the bouquets, our incredible wedding ceremony arch, as well as the table runner for our head table of 50! Everyone was ranting and raving about our flowers at the wedding and still to this day. They were so unique and set the stage for the most perfect day of our lives. Some of our friends even traveled back to Los Angeles with them the day after! We could not be more grateful to the Hana team for everything that they did for us. Not to mention, we planned our wedding from 3,000 miles away and Yumiko and the team were there for us every step of the way. Our flowers are still living on in our gorgeous photos and we could not have asked for anything more. Thank you Team HANA!
