When I’m not photographing freaking awesome people, you can find me sitting on the couch in my husband's pajama pants, drinking coffee, snuggling my pets, and editing. Coffee and snuggles are my two primary love languages. My favorite Netflix binges are The Office, Shameless, and Friday Night Lights. Clear eyes, full heart. Speed date: I’m obsessed with Vermont, avocados, dark chocolate, and cats. Pinterest is only my friend for recipes. My favorite fair food is fried dough but I’m allergic to it - what kind of cruel joke is that? I didn’t study photography in college (gasp), but I did study music, and that kind of relates...right?

How much I will simply adore you as humans. My favorite thing about weddings is that I get to support and cheerlead you on one of your very best days. To me, photography is the vehicle that I get to use to connect with and love others - and it is such a gift.

    This review is long overdue but it's difficult to find the words to describe just how absolutely AMAZING Erica and the Sweet Alice team are!! It was a bit serendipitous that we found Erica and we have thanked the universe for it many times. Our only regret is not meeting her sooner!! From the first meeting we felt a sense of relief and comfort as she was not only a great guide about the process, but took the time to get to know my husband and I so we felt like friends coming together for a special project! Erica is the most supportive while being responsive, detailed and, of course, taking INCREDIBLE shots. I mean we were stunned by the sneak peeks!! Lily, her second shooter, was also wonderful and it was clear the two of them had a great, cohesive vision for the day which made everything seamless. Because of them, the day felt so fun and full of laughter. Erica was so encouraging and supportive during photos that one of my bridesmaids jokingly asked her 'Are you a therapist? Because I have never felt so good about myself!' Our day would not have ever been the same without Erica and Lily. When we look at these drop-dead gorgeous photos, we will remember how amazing the day was but we also always remember the two of them right there beside us as our hilarious, fun cheerleaders (I'm getting teary just thinking about it). Thank you from the very bottom of our hearts!! And everyone else, book them and book them now!

    Booking Erica was by far one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. She is extremely easy to work with, is remarkably professional, and, importantly, the pictures are spectacular. From the first chat with her to receiving the finished images, each interaction was a joy. Erica is fully present, thoughtful, and responsive. We never felt like we were being told to just do the same poses that she does with every couple - it all felt really authentic to who we are. She made us and our families feel comfortable in front of the camera with such sweetness and encouragement. Erica and her co-photographer on the day of were somehow everywhere and nowhere. They knew how to seamlessly capture every moment while somehow not being in the way of any moment. This is evident in the pictures we received. Not only do we have stunning pictures of us as a couple in settings and poses we never would have thought of on our own, we have countless candid shots of all our guests enjoying the event. If you are considering hiring Erica, do not waste another minute. Do it. Now. Before she's booked on your date. You won't regret it!

    There are no words sufficient to explain how amazing Erica is. Aside from her clear talent and absolutely beautiful photographs, she herself is a wonder and a delight. From our very first zoom call, she was so kind, warm, and supportive. For my husband and I, it felt as if we were chatting with someone we had known for years. She made us feel so comfortable, despite being two fairly socially awkward people. Our engagement session proved that we had made the very best decision. It immediately felt as though we were just hiking with a friend. Erica is so upbeat and encouraging, but was also willing to confront those who rudely disrupted us in order to get the perfect shot. The time flew by because we were having so much fun. Her passion for what she does is evident, and it is reflected in the pictures she takes. Throughout the process of planning our wedding, Erica was constantly checking in and offering help, support, and most importantly, much-needed coffee. She was willing to help with anything and everything, even if it wasn’t related to the wedding. Thanks to her we not only have amazing engagement and wedding photos, but awesome, newly-painted kitchen cabinets. Looking back, our wedding day is all a bit of a blur. But we will absolutely never forget how incredible Erica was at all times, and thanks to her and her wonderful second shooter Maria, we have the most stunning pictures to remind us of such a perfect day. We had so many guests comment on how great she was. And despite her size, she had a commanding presence and was able to corral our obnoxiously large (and at times just obnoxious) wedding party and families. Her energy and excitement made everything so easy. We truly cannot thank her enough for all that she did and all that she is, and we would absolutely recommend her a thousand times over for all photography needs, or even if you just need some positive vibes. It is honestly impossible not to love her!
