Honestly, I wasn't blown away by their food. It was a bit of a disappointment. I had higher expectations. Service was okay, it didn't feel like anyone was going the extra mile or trying to make it special. We had family style service which I love, but it didn't feel that magical.

Menla is an absolutely beautiful venue. It is a yoga retreat center and they have a lot of rules that are different than most wedding venues. But that is what makes it special. Some of the rooms are really great and some are not so great, but it still doesn't take away from how awesome this place is. A lot of the staff are super generous and thoughtful. The chef there is so great. He made our Sunday brunch and it was delicious!!! They have a spa and pool there that is really great too. Like I said before, it isn't a "wedding venue" so some things can be difficult because it is not set up for weddings. It is set up for yoga/spiritual retreats. If you are willing to take time, and are looking for something really unique then this is the place for you.

He is beyond generous. I can't thank him enough. He went the extra mile for us. He is so knowledgable and has great instincts. The flowers WERE ABSOLUTELY MAGNIFICENT. I remember being blown away by my bouquet. It surpassed my expectations.

Incredible. JBM was ready for anything. We have stunning shots!! They are real, not cheesy. It started to rain and JBM made sure we got every shot we needed! At one point, they asked what shot do you really want? We said this shot by a bridge that is about a 10 minute drive. They said, let's get in the car and make that happen. Now I look back and think OMG thank god they made us do that. Those shots are GORGEOUS!
