Miami weddings are in a league of their own, and when we get a note saying a new one has been sent our way, we never quite know what kind of eye-candy we're going to come across. But one thing is for sure: each gem is always chock full of unique touches, and our couples really know how to make each soirée truly their own. Let's just go ahead and put it out there that Lauren made for an absolutely stunning bride, and boy was she glowing as she walked down the aisle towards Nicolas in the same park her parents said "I do" 30 years earlier. How precious! Many thanks to Ricky Stern Photography for sharing this one with us!
From the bride.…
We knew we wanted the event to take place in a park. After a few weeks of searching, I stumbled upon pictures of a wedding that looked promising. The location was Greynold's Park in North Miami Beach, which is five minutes from where we live and inexpensive! And to add a little pixie dust to this fairy tale, it just so happened that my parents got married in a different area of the same park almost 30 years before. Now that we found the location, everything else seemed a bit easier.
Invitations were done by the same company who did my best friend's wedding. We were able to create the design for our invitations. The food was catered by a company owned by the couple who introduced us. At the top of my priority list was the photography. I saw no point in putting forth so much effort to make the day special and perfect if it was not going to be documented properly. My expectations were exceeded and Nick agreed.
