It's here! It's here! The highly anticipated list of the best of the best wedding venues in Napa & Sonoma is finally here! With sweeping vineyard views, gorgeous wineries, unbelievable weather, beautiful California sunshine, and luxurious ranches and resorts for as far as the eye can see, there isn't a venue in this area that we don't love. It's sometimes so incredibly hard to choose just one, or even two, of our favorites, so we left it up to you all and the results are in!

We know you can't wait to hear the results, so without further adieu, here are the winners!

Best All-Around Napa & Sonoma Wedding Venue

First Place: a wedding venue

Calistoga Ranch is nestled away in the Upper Napa Valley where century-old oak trees, babbling streams, and majestic hill views make up the 170 wooded acre resort. There was really no surprise at all when we tallied up the votes and and learned it won "Best All-Around Napa & Sonoma Wedding Venue." With pristine resort grounds, a private lake front, and a wine cave, there is no doubt that this venue is a perfect fit for any type of wedding. Not to mention, the natural elegance & understated beauty will take your breath away and will give you the full experience of Wine Country entertaining. Runner-Up: V. Sattui Winery

V. Sattui Winery is a boutique, family-owned winery located in the heart of the iconic Napa Valley. Since its founding in 1885, the expansive 38-acre, organically farmed vineyard has reminded people of the old age wineries in France and Italy with its manicured gardens & decade-old oak trees spotting the lush grounds. If you're looking for a vineyard wedding in the Napa Valley, V. Sattui has everything you could need: an abundance of picturesque & welcoming settings and an authentic Wine Country experience that everyone will enjoy!

Most Romantic Napa & Sonoma Wedding Venue

First Place: Calistoga Ranch

It's hard to argue with this one, folks! Calistoga Ranch has certainly made a huge splash in the Napa Valley since its debut & there is no secret as to why. Set away in a secluded canyon, this masterfully designed venue leaves little luxury & romance to the imagination and will provide a once-in-a-lifetime experience for you & your guests. From the multitude of exquisite event spaces like the underground Wine Caves, complete with wrought-iron chandeliers and domed ceilings, to the Lommel Lawn featuring a panoramic view of the private vineyard and lakefront, every ounce of this venue offers an unrivaled romantic atmosphere for an evening of fine dining & dancing. It's magical!

Runner-Up: Auberge du Soleil

Once you see it, there's no denying the beauty and romance of Auberge du Soleil so we're not at all surprised that it won runner-up for "Most Romantic Napa & Sonoma Wedding Venue." With the majestic views of the sun-drenched valley, this hillside setting has captivated and enchanted many for over 30 years. The expansive ceremony deck and terrace boast panoramic vineyard views that are beyond compare, perfect for an outdoor ceremony, enjoying hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, or basking in the glow of the sunset, & your guests will surely enjoy the Michelin-starred cuisine being served in the private dining level.

Most Unique Napa & Sonoma Wedding Venue

First Place: Olympia's Valley Estate

Olympia's Valley Estate, located in south western Sonoma County, has been family owned and operated since 1905 when the Tresch family & little 15-year-old Olympia came to the valley in a horse-drawn springboard wagon with two dairy cows. And even 100 years later, the farm is still operating, cows are still being milked, & it has expanded to over 2,000 acres. Olympia's grandson, Joe, along with his wife Kathy, daughters Lydia & Lindsay, and daughter-in-law Samantha, all work tirelessly to keep this gorgeous estate running & as beautiful as ever. From the Victorian home with a beautiful vintage dressing room and lovely lawn for ceremonies, a rustic cottage for wedding party dressing area, the redwood barn for receptions, & expansive grounds with a lake, apple orchards, and luscious gardens, we can see why this beauty won first place for "Most Unique Napa & Sonoma Wedding Venue."

Runner-Up: CornerStone Sonoma

It was no surprise when we learned that CornerStone Sonoma had won runner-up for "Most Unique Napa & Sonoma Wedding Venue" because of the three separate venue offerings inside this amazing venue. The first, the Wedding Garden, welcomes you with fragrant white roses, silver olive trees, and a plethora of seasonal blooms, along with a large Zephyr tent perfect for enjoying dinner amidst the floral surroundings. The second, the Garden Barn, sits amongst the expansive gardens with large sliding barn doors that can be opened on all sides for a panoramic garden view. The third, the Vineyard Lawn, which can be found adjacent to the gardens and vineyards, is a private space with a gorgeous reflection pool and large lawn that is ideal for larger groups for both ceremonies and al fresco dinner parties. No matter the type of setting, CornerStone Sonoma has what you are looking for!

Venues with the Best Views

First Place: Auberge du Soleil

One look at the images below of Auberge du Soleil & you'll see first hand why this venue took the cake for this category. No wonder it has been deemed Napa Valley's most panoramic-view destination for ceremonies & receptions - those views go on for miles and miles. Wedding guests won't be able to miss the spectacular valley & vineyard views as they watch you and your sweetie say "I do." Be sure to take in the fiery sunset as the evening grows dim. You might have to see it to believe it, so we'll let the photos below do the rest of the talking.

Runner-Up: Paradise Ridge Winery

People say that you really have to experience the Paradise Ridge Winery views for yourself to really understand & comprehend the beauty of it all. I mean, it has to be great if it was voted runner-up for "Best Views" in all of Napa & Sonoma! A vast & lush 156-acre estate awaits and will welcome your arrival with a location & perspective that can't be seen anywhere else. The pristine European-style courtyard, the outdoor sculpture garden, & the sweeping dark mahogany verandas and the private grand terrance offering astounding Russian River Valley views - all things that will captivate your guests for an evening to remember.

Honorable Mention: Kunde Family Winery

Best Venue for Intimate Weddings (Fewer Than 50 Guests)

First Place: Olympia's Valley Estate

Attend just one wedding at Olympia's Valley Estate & you'll see why this was a clear front runner for being voted Napa & Sonoma's best venue for an intimate wedding of 50 people or fewer. Yes, the farm is expansive and can hold up to 200 guests, but the budding apple orchards and fully operating farm add the perfect amount of charm to an intimate wedding celebration. The designated ceremony site, surrounded by decade-old Weeping Willows & overlooking a pond, provides a sweet & intimate setting for your loved ones to watch you & yours say "I do." And the 150-year-old restored barn is perfect for a warm evening of celebrating, eating, and dancing with your most beloved.

Runner-Up: Auberge du Soleil

Want a cozy & intimate wedding and not compromise on all that Napa & Sonoma have to offer? Auberge du Soleil is definitely a place you want to look into. Hosting ceremonies and receptions from 2-120 guests, this stunning venue can do it all, and will do it well. No matter how many guests you invite or if it's just you and your sweetie, Auberge du Soleil can guarantee that everyone will be treated with the genuine hospitality and have an intimate & personal event that will be beyond your wildest dreams.

Best Venue for Grand Weddings (More Than 200 Guests)

First Place: Trentadue Winery

Being a venue that offers so many wonderful & personalized choices, it's no wonder Trentadue Winery was voted best venue for weddings of more than 200 guests. Offering their guests a touch of Tuscany inside the Alexander Valley, each of their event spaces offers the old-world Italian ambiance that you can't find anywhere else. The South Lawn, one of the venue's most popular & versatile spaces, is shaded by the towering Redwoods and makes a favorite ceremony or cocktail hour setting. Or choose the North Lawn, with its spectacular backdrop of lush vines and hillsides and fragrant cherry blossoms that can be customized to your liking. Then, dine al fresco with your guests beneath the lush grape arbors set on the North Lawn's edge or the Sala de Leon Vineyard Pavilion which provides a little indoor escape without sacrificing any of the beauty or the spectacular views. No matter the location, this place is downright magical.

Runner-Up: Meadowood Resort

Meadowood Resort promises to offer timeless weddings year round. No matter the season or the weather, every event is as beautiful and magical as the last. The extensive grounds and the grand event spaces are perfect for larger guest lists, and the staff at Meadowood resort are masters at accommodating the needs of the event and exceeding all expectations. Nothing at Meadowood Resort will disappoint!

Best Vineyard Wedding Venue

First Place: Kunde Family Estate

There's a reason that the Kunde Family Estate is a must on people itineraries when they visit California's Wine Country. The Kunde family has worked tirelessly generation after generation to maintain the integrity and legacy of the picturesque estate, and the effort has surely paid off. This is a totally remarkable 1,850-acre property offering stunning views of the surrounding area and the vineyards, where 20 different grape varietals are being grown. If you want that quintessential winery wedding, Kunde Family Estate is the perfect fit.

Runner-Up: Gloria Ferrer Caves & Vineyard

Gloria Ferrer Caves & Vineyard is mostly known for being the first sparkling wine house in Sonoma Carneros & the first to plant Champagne clones in Carneros, but it's also renowned for the beauty of the vineyard alone. Your guests will revel in the magnificent views while you exchange your vows beneath the grapevine covered arbor, while you enjoy drinks and hors d'oeuvres on the Vista Terrace and dance the night away under the star sprinkled sky. Everywhere you look, prepare to be awestruck.

Best Estate Wedding Venue

First Place: Beaulieu Garden

Where Old World meets new, Beaulieu Garden is a private, family-owned & operated estate and is one of the oldest wine-producing vineyards in all of Napa. Your first impression of the estate will be "WOW" as you drive up the quarter-mile driveway lined by sycamore trees reaching overhead. As you delve further into the beauty, you have your choice of ceremony and dinner locations, either in the sunken garden accents by a stone pool of lilies and a running fountain, or under a magnificent sycamore arbor that is draped in warm sunlight during the day and dramatic mood lighting as the night draws near. Dance the night away under the stars as the moonlight illuminates the vines around you. Everything about these gardens is magical and will provide a magnificent evening.

Runners-Up: A tie! The Vintage Estate and a wedding venue

With all of the beauty of the valley, it's not surprising that it proved hard for a decision to be made here which resulted in our first tie for runner-up of "Best Estate Wedding Venue."

The Vintage Estate

This beautiful estate encapsulates everything romantic about the Napa Valley. The 23-acre estate & North California's preferred Four Diamond luxury destination, is a wine country & culinary haven that just so happens to offer a total jaw-dropping setting. For the ceremony, reception, and into the evening hours, the vast estate offers a grand outdoor Pavillon overlooking lush green lawns & perfectly manicured gardens, each with points of distinction that will make every wedding perfectly tailored and unique.

Vine Hill House

Situated amongst world-renowned Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vineyards & apple orchards, this lovely Wine Country estate is constantly blowing our minds with its stunning, expansive landscape & picturesque locations. With luscious gardens filled with Douglas firs, redwoods, and oaks, accompanied by the loveliest flower gardens and other garden delights. Every inch of this estate will provide the romantic atmosphere that is so desired.

Best Hotel/Inn/Resort Wedding Venue

First Place: Auberge du Soleil

We weren't surprised at all when we learned that you all voted once again for this gorgeous resort. "Best of Borrowed & Blue Napa & Sonoma Weddings 2015" is a competition to reward the very best in the local wedding industry from the past year. Award recipients are determined based exclusively on a community survey that was sent to local wedding venues, vendors, brides & grooms, wedding junkies, and their fans and followers. Voting was open from 8am, November 18, 2014, until midnight on December 15, 2014, and thousands of votes were received and recorded. Results are based solely on vote totals and have no correlation to any advertising relationships that may or may not exist between Borrowed & Blue and award recipients. Borrowed & Blue carefully monitored voting to ensure only one vote was recorded per computer (IP address), and all voters were required to register their basic information with the Company.
