From the moment we laid eyes on this Nashville wedding, we were completely smitten. Spring in this vibrant city is even more full of life than usual, and this venue is positively overflowing with blossoms and blooms. From cascading hydrangeas over farm tables, to vintage colored glass, to an elegant rose-petal cake; this decor is sweet, Southern charm done perfectly. R.L. Morris Weddings gives us image after image of pretty, and it's the perfect way kick off our week! Did we mention the bride? Molly is downright stunning, and this timeless look with mermaid-style gown and navy maids gowns always makes us swoon. Here's to the lovely couple, we wish you a lifetime of love and happiness! xo
From the photographer....
Molly always knew she wanted an outside reception with a gorgeous background. Once she saw Cheekwood Mansion, she fell in love with its ambiance and the stunning views. From there, Jennifer and Jacki from Reveal Events really helped create the look she wanted. She would describe it as simple elegance while staying true to her southern roots. The "Man Cave, beer tasting" section was something that she really wanted to do for Ryan because he ALWAYS talks about how he would build his perfect man cave. Jennifer really helped Molly expand that idea and turn it into what you see at the wedding.
Ryan and I grew up together and dated briefly in middle school. We remained acquaintances for years but "resparked" our friendship when we both were graduating from college. He went to Auburn and I went to Alabama. From there, our friendship turned into a long distance relationship and we decided to move to Tallahassee, FL together for grad school at FSU. Once we lived in the same town everything felt right and we knew we wanted to be together forever. We both had goals of finishing grad school and getting our first "real" job before pursuing marriage. We finished school in May 2013, Ryan received a job in July, and he proposed in August! I quickly got a job by September so I could follow him to Nashville.
We are now living in Nashville to start our careers. Ryan works as a business consultant for Censis Technologies, a healthcare software company. I am a dietitian for the Department of Children's Services within the Division of Juvenile Justice. We are enjoying being back in SEC territory!
