If you ever, for even just a second, forget how very sweet love is, all you need to do is take a look at this wedding to be instantly reminded. This glamorous spring soirée in New Orleans from Courtney Dellafiora has all the things that we love in a traditional wedding, and from twinkling candles adorning the reception venue to blush florals and a Rolls Royce exit, this day was absolutely steeped in elegance and beauty. Kelly is one of those brides that is a timeless beauty, and from the look on Jeff's face throughout the day, you can tell he feels the same. Oh, Elyse Jennings Weddings, you have done it again, and we simply could not have asked for more from this day. Congrats, you two lovebirds; we wish you all the happiness in the world! xoxo
From the planner....
These two have been in love for nearly 10 years, and boy does their love radiate and fill an entire room! So their wedding was designed to show their personalities through every creative detail!
After a first look that made my cheeks hurt from smiling so much, their romantic ceremony was held at St. Mary's Assumption! After the ceremony, everyone travelled to Audubon Tea Room to dance all night long. Guests were greeted by hundred of candles in the garden while a duo filled the courtyard with song, as well as hand lettered signs at every turn to guide the guests through the cocktail hour! When the bride and groom arrived, the first dances commenced, and the dance floor was packed from that dance on! They only took a break to cut the gorgeous cakes, both topped with vintage toppers! The bride's was adorned with her grandmother's topper (which was also used by her mom), while the groom's king cake was topped with Mardi Gras figurines from the year that the couple was born! Drinks were kept chilled by my favorite koozie saying, "We're having an open bar…oh and a wedding!" As the night came to an end, the guests enjoyed their favors: Croatian Hrostule ("love knots") hand made by the bride, her sister, her mom, and grandmother! Then everyone second lined them out to their Rolls Royce, and off they went! It was a truly special day for two truly special people.
Almost everything had a handmade touch! The bride is a graphic designer and amazing at hand lettering, so all of the paper work and signage was custom!
