Oh my goodness, is this couple stunning! Michael Caswell Photography captured this luxurious soirée, and we are absolutely pleased as punch to feature this beauty today. Let's begin with Stacey's dress, shall we? Delicate sheer back meets the sweetest button details, and she wears it oh-so-perfectly. We could go on and on about the fresh and modern design of the day that had vintage touches and a serious nod to tradition, but these images are so much better than words. Enjoy everyone, we hope you adore this day as much as we do! xoxo

    The Couple

    Him

Reid enjoys running and league tennis in the New Orleans area. He also enjoys cinema and anything to do with the New York Yankees. Traveling with Stacey is also a great passion of his.

    Her

Stacey enjoys walking her furry pup, Pierre, around New Orleans. She also enjoys reading, movie-going and shopping. Traveling is her passion.

    Together

They always say they were brought together by serendipity, as a hurricane brought them together through university studies one fall semester.

    Our Love Story

It was one fall while Reid and his family evacuated West to Lafayette, LA, to find safety from a hurricane. It was there where he met Stacey through organic chemistry studies that one fall semester at UL-Lafayette. From there they became great friends and quickly great loves. Traveling between New Orleans and Lafayette at first, their adoration became strong enough to bring Stacey to New Orleans where they blossomed to engagement and then marriage.

To connect to Stacey’s Acadian heritage, Reid swept her to Old Quebec for an engagement journey visiting Le Chateau Frontenac. This was a great start to their exciting New Orleans wedding plans.

    Do-It-Yourself

Apothecary note jars (past, present, future) were used as a guest sign in book. First (past) jar- For memories of the couple from the past. Second (present) jar- Notes of advice for the couple to read the night of the wedding. Third (future) jar- For a fun note to read on their 1st year anniversary

    Also do-it-yourself photobooth props!

    What's Next

In the meantime, they’ll both be studying dentistry at LSUHSC-School of Dentistry. They’re planning on growing the family in about 2 years once settled in their private dental practice. Nonetheless, next on their planning list is the honeymoon to Paris for the summer of 2014.
