    Orlando Wedding Favor Ideas

So, you’re having your wedding in Orlando! Maybe you’ve chosen this scenic location to say your vows by the beach, in the everglades, or even in an amazing theme park. Regardless of the reasons behind your decision, you want your travel-weary guests to be excited on your special day. Give them favors they won’t soon forget inspired by the Orlando area.

Wedding favors are a win-win: you’ll be thankful for the extra smiles from family and friends and they’ll feel even more appreciated for making the journey to celebrate with you. It’s time to stop daydreaming about your wedding and make those dreams your reality! Here are some of our favorite Orlando favor ideas:

      Something for the Sun

Your wedding is outside and you’re worried your guests will start feeling the wear and tear of the sun. Check out these wedding favors that will help your guests fight the heat and humidity:

      Parasols & Fans

Include a box of fans or parasols on the way to the wedding ceremony or reception. If you want, make your fan a program as well! A little extra shade goes a long way when it comes to your guests’ wedding stamina. This will truly help out of all the people who aren’t used to Florida's climate.

Florida isn’t called the Sunshine State for nothing. If you’re having a wedding outside, maybe at mid-day, and you are concerned about the glare of the sun, give your guests sunglasses for wedding favors. Not only will all of your friends and family be able to actually see you when you say your vows, but they also have a lovely cover for any possible tears (of happiness, of course)!

      Floridian Foodies

      Fresh Oranges

Oranges are the perfect wedding favor to leave at each guest's place setting. These cute table favors happen to be the state fruit of Florida and will give your guests a sweet treat if they need something while they’re waiting for the main course. Also, we couldn’t think of a better table favor to give your wedding a natural and effortless vibe. If you want, you and your partner can turn getting your wedding favors into a fun date. Pick your own oranges at Showcase of Citrus!

      Sister Honey’s

Sister Honey’s sells many amazing products including cupcakes, cakes, cookies, and cream puffs. One of the local favorites is the Magic Bar, a chewy bar with chocolate and butterscotch chips, nuts, and coconut set in a caramelized layer with a graham cracker crust. I mean… yum. Pop inside for a taste and make sure to order ahead if you’re planning to buy in bulk for your wedding.

      Se7en Bites

Here, the handmade baked goods and desserts are always made with the best quality ingredients available. They are also organic whenever possible. Rhapsodic call themselves a “merry band of miscreant bakers and dessert slingers,” and they’ve joined forces with the powers of “Real Food” and “Ingredients with Integrity” to create a bakeshop that makes food for those of us with different dietary needs.

      Croissant Gourmet

This awesome shop was opened up in 2008 by two brothers determined to cater to all types of diner’s favorite foods. While their lunch specialties run the gamut from quiche lorraine to croque monsieur, Croissant Gourmet’s bakery is the star of the show. Local favorites include rich vanilla or chocolate filled éclairs, tarts with fillings like apple and apricot, coconut and vanilla flans, napoleons, some of the best macaroons in town, and last but not least: croissants.

      A Taste of Orlando

      Orlando Brewing

While the beer's not free, you should keep in mind that the brewery tour, held Monday through Saturday at 6:00 p.m., most certainly is! Attach a note to your lovely wedding favors and your guests will know they can go and enjoy a tour of their own.

      Orlando Smoke Show

Corona Cigar Company, conveniently located in Downtown Orlando, offers incredible prices for their product in bulk. Nobody will want to pass up these amazing cigars, but if you’re concerned not all of your wedding guests will love this gift, give them a customized cigar box to remember your special day — it doesn’t have to store cigars if your guests have other plans for it.
