When two cuties manage to harmoniously blend their cultures into their wedding, it's one beautiful thing. So much so I can hardly find the right words to even begin to do this gem justice. Each and every image from Stephanie Dishman Photography shows a couple head over heels in love with the other, and it's that special kind of romance that makes this gem simply unforgettable. Keep reading to hear more about Ana & Simon's wedding day and then prepare to soak in the loveliest dose of eye-candy in these photos! Xoxo.
From the very talented photographer....
Ana & Simon's wedding was like nothing I've ever seen before! The ceremony was a mix of Zoroastrian tradition (the bride is Persian) and Christian traditional vows.
Unfortunately, it rained the entire day so we weren't able to go outside (which really disappointed Ana and our plans for the first look), but the hotel is so beautiful that we has no shortage of amazing locations in which to shoot.
In the Zoroastrian tradition, there is an opulent table called the Sofreh Table where the couple sits. They table is loaded with everything from sugar, to honey, to eggs and more, each item representing something special and a wish for the couples future. Ana's mother put so much time and love into the table and it turned out amazing!
The reception was held in the newly remodeled ballroom at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes (it was actually the first wedding to be held their since their remodel), and it was every bit as beautiful as the ceremony with royal purple uplighting and amazing floral centerpieces. The entire room smelled like a garden!
I think my favorite part of the reception was the dancing! Every single person attending the wedding was on the dance floor at some point. And with the beautiful Persian music mixed in with Top 40 hits, everyone was having a great time.
The photos really tell a story of love, tradition, and fun!
