John Ross Music

John Ross Music and Production got its start in 2004. The simple idea of live music and DJ service from one vendor caught on across the region and in 2010 the company began adding more musician/DJs to its roster. Oregon Bride Magazine first recognized the musician/DJs at John Ross Music and Production as the “Best Ceremony Musicians” in the state in 2013. The company won that same award again in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2019, also adding the “Best Reception Band” honor to its list of achievements. As of 2020 the company employs 10 different musician/DJs as well as a full time office manager to serve its clients.

We offer both live music and DJ/MC. Our couples do not need to choose between the two or hire more than one vendor to get the vision they are looking for. Our all inclusive packages include all the couple's sound needs covered for the day. Mics for officiant, vows, and toasts as well as options for live ceremony and cocktail and DJ/MC services for the reception.

    We loved working with Bo and John Ross Music for our wedding! They are very organized and it was easy to fill out the form they provided for must have music vs. do not play songs. We were able to keep updating it as we thought of new songs we loved. Everyone was so impressed with our music throughout the whole day. Bo played live for our ceremony and even learned some specific songs we requested. It was unforgettable! When it came to the reception, Bo was just as impressive, if not more! He checked in with us throughout the event to make sure we were happy or to see if we thought a specific song would excite the crowd. My parents and relatives commented that the sound level was perfect! They could have conversations and still enjoy the music. We had the best time and Bo made sure everyone else did as well. Thank you to Bo Baskoro and John Ross Music for a great wedding day!

From the level of talent each DJ has when they perform live sets, to the professionalism and high quality equipment, JRP is your one stop shop for everything you need. As an event coordinator, we rely upon our DJs to keep our party running and this team does that effortlessly and so much more! Love them!
