Laura Billingham offers a relaxed yet elegant alternative to wedding, portrait, and location photography. Favoring natural light and unforced composition, Laura captures the moments and details that matter.

It's a privilege to capture the unique story of each couple's wedding day. My goal is to make images that capture how your wedding day *felt*, not cookie cutter shots from a generic shot list. I want you to love your photos as much 20 years from now as you do the first time you see them! I believe in crafting custom pricing proposals for each couple rather than offering cookie-cutter price lists. I cannot recommend Laura enough to photograph your special day! Laura was our wedding photographer this past June and was such a pleasure to work with. While in the process of picking a photographer, Laura and I chatted over Zoom and I was pleasantly surprised with how easy Laura was to talk to, as well as how organized she seemed with her planning. Leading up to the wedding Laura was very communicative and answered all my questions immediately. The day of the wedding she arrived right on time and was incredibly organized. Her second photographer, Bia, was also a pleasure to work with. She was professional and fun- the kids in our wedding party loved Bia and she was able to capture amazing pictures. My fiance and I were somewhat dreading all the group photos that a wedding entails, however Laura ran this process so smoothly we actually had fun taking the photos! We were blown away with the end results. The photos came out absolutely beautiful. Laura captured all the feelings of our special day in every one of her photos. We also received SO many photographs- quite impressive considering I barely even noticed Laura taking pictures while I was so wrapped up in the day. I have zero complaints and only wonderful things to say about Laura. I sincerely hope to work with her again one day!

I've had the joy of working with Laura on several weddings. Her down to earth, warm personality attracts the nicest couples. We could rave for days about our overall experience with Laura and the end product photographs and prints we received. Laura's experience and professionalism were demonstrated pre-wedding with effective communication and outlining of expectations. She provided excellent advice which ultimately made the day of go much smoother. At the wedding and reception, we were impressed by how unimposing Laura was while still being able to capture the moments most significant to us, as well as the ones we didn't even know would be the most important to us until we saw them. When the fire alarms went off unexpectedly, she took it in stride, creating the most of the moment by placing us near the fire trucks and capturing some of the best pictures of the night. We sincerely and strongly recommend Laura for wedding photography and continue to be so grateful!

Typically, couples book me about 12 months before their event. If you are planning a June or October wedding, I suggest you contact me as soon as possible since those are the most in-demand dates!

All my package pricing includes a second photographer. I only use professional photographers that I know and trust, who have the same level of experience as I do, and who shoot in a similar style. I have worked with my second photographers for more than 10 years!

Yes! All final images are edited for color balance and exposure so that they are ready to print when you receive them. When you make selections for framing and albums, the photos go through a second round of retouching so that they look perfect when they're enlarged.

I don't offer videography, but can recommend amazing, trusted videographers to you. Just ask!

My turnaround time is 4 weeks. In rare instances I may need a bit more time. If that's the case, I will let you know as soon as possible. To ease the wait, I often provide sneak peeks so that you have a collection of amazing images to share with friends & family right away!

You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of shooting. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

Absolutely. If your venue requires a certificate of insurance, I can provide that to them within 24 hours.

In the very rare event that I’m unable to shoot your wedding, I will contract with another trusted photographer that works in a similar style to photograph your wedding. I'm happy to say that In 20 years of photographing weddings, this only happened one time! Our contract covers this info in much more detail. If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask!
