Hi, I'm Kristyn Villars. I am a fine art wedding photographer based out of the beautiful Central Coast of California, but will happily travel to wherever your love story takes you. I love to visit and experience new places! I have always been fascinated with freezing moments in time to inspire emotion. The details, life's little moments, that's where we exist. There's something romantic about being able to document a couple's love story! My style can be described as authentic, candid, and photojournalistic, where I specialize in outdoor wedding photography. Your golden hour photos will be your favorite photos from your wedding day, I promise!

I believe establishing a close personal relationship is crucial to capturing the vision of your perfect wedding. Planning a wedding is stressful, and I am here to help.     Kristyn captured our wedding in September 2019 in Soquel, CA. Searching for a wedding photographer is no easy feat, but when i found Kristyn’s instagram I knew she was the one. Her work is absolutely beautiful, I mean her galleries speak for themselves. However, I also knew that I needed someone on that day who was down to earth and felt like a friend. I can’t tell you how many weddings I’ve been in where either the photographer was too assertive or just felt like a stranger. From our first phone call I immediately clicked with Kristyn. The year leading up to our wedding was definitely not an easy one, as I was battling health issues, which caused us to postpone our engagement shoot. Kristyn was nothing short of an angel with accommodating us. I will seriously never be able to thank her enough for the support she gave me that year leading up to the big day. On the day of the wedding, her and her second shooter, Beth, were so great to work with. Kristyn wore so many hats that day. She felt like my personal cheerleader, a friend, a wedding coordinator, and problem solver. I could not have imagined hiring anyone to capture our special day. We are in love with our wedding photos, and can’t wait for Kristyn to capture many more memories to come.
