If you asked me to name my favorite outdoor venue in California, there is no doubt that Walnut Grove would be at the top of my list, and once you see these photos from Kimberlee Miller Photography, there will no doubt in your mind as to why Lindsay & Jake fell in love with it. It is rustic, but at the same time perfectly romantic and intimate - and this bride & groom transformed it into something more magical than anything I have ever seen. Everywhere you look, the details draw you in: Lindsay's stunning illusion neckline gown, the beautiful ceremony set up with white church pews and a rustic mantel, and the fun key-themed escort cards and personalized match book favors. Incorporating a soft color palette of pinks and creams, gorgeous floral arrangements everywhere, and lots of little DIY details, this stunning bride & groom made sure every single detail was a true reflection of them! Xoxo.

    Our Love Story

    From the blushing bride....

Jake & I met at the end of 2011 through one of our a mutual friends. Neither one of us were really looking for any sort of relationship, but after meeting each other we had a change of heart. We instantly clicked, and both of us felt as if we had known each other for years! Not long after, we started to spend every chance we had together, travel together, and soon after, move in together. After a year and a half of dating, Jake planned a weekend getaway to Solvang where he proposed at our favorite winery. Jake was so clever and really threw me off to the point where I was convinced that nothing was going to happen that weekend. Thankfully I was wrong and two of our friends had secretly recorded our entire proposal! From there we started our journey of wedding planning. Walnut Grove was one of those places where I could instantly see our wedding take place. I loved the rustic, outdoor feel, the trees made it feel cozy and intimate, and I loved all of the fantastic picture opportunities. It started to rain the morning of my wedding and of course I started to panic. Luckily the rain cleared, yet the clouds remained. It couldn't have been a more gorgeous day at Walnut Grove.
