Monica & James had a stunning summer wedding in Santa Barbara that was really something like out of our very best fantasies. The day was definitely rustic chic, with earth tone elements throughout, and oh-so-much love. Michael Stephens Photography gives us the prettiest of pretty images that we could just pour over all day long. This day was in every way perfectly Southern "California", and we just could not have asked for more!
From Michael Stephens Photography.....
This wedding was a small budget, diy event. Their "details" were simple, but their venue and their portraits were something special. Monica and James's wedding venue, the Rancho Camulos Museum is a California Historic Landmark and a National Historic Landmark, where "the history, myth, and romance of Old California still lingers." That earthy romance was reflected in Monica and James perfectly, and their portraits are some of our favorites ever.
The cake and flowers were both done by their extremely talented and capable coordinator Debbie Heaslip of TBM Events based out of Simi Valley, CA. She was a joy to work with.
