Tracy & Jeremy's distinct personalities and interests came together beautifully at their wedding in Tracy's hometown of Ojai. We love how their own personal styles show through their individual ring choices and how they incorporated some of their favorite things — like pizza and funfetti cupcakes! — into the menu. Just look at those amazing cocktails! And, did we mention that Tracy's parents house set a stunning backdrop filled with ancient trees for their poolside ceremony? But, even with all of these spectacular details to look at, our favorite part was how Third Element captured so many wonderful moments of laughter throughout the day. This beaming couple's joy shows through every moment of this wonderful celebration!
From the Bride…
Our biggest priorities for our wedding was that it felt like “us,” and that we created a warm, romantic, and inviting atmosphere for all of our family and friends. We also had a lot of family involvement in our ceremony (my brother officiated) which also really made the day feel special.
Our location was also a very important component of our day. Ojai is my hometown and it has always had a special place in my heart, and over the past 6 years it has become a very meaningful place for both Jeremy and me. We have had many wonderful, special moments there (including our engagement) and we knew from the beginning that this was where we wanted to have our wedding. We also wanted to share this love of Ojai with all of our family and friends, several of whom had never truly experienced this amazing town. Originally we were hesitant to impose on my parents, but when we brought up the idea they were very excited to host this special event for us. Being able to collaborate with my parents, and have them involved from the beginning, made the entire planning process very special for both Jeremy and me.
Jeremy was born in Orange County, but grew up in Olympia, WA and Hawaii as a kid. He is a HUGE sports fan; he loves UCLA basketball and football, the Lakers, and anything related to soccer. He also loves pizza and funfetti cupcakes.
I am a Southern California Native and love being outside, whether it's hiking in the mountains or hanging out at the beach. I also love yoga, checking out farmers markets, and cooking with my husband!
As a couple we love to travel, eat (especially pizza,) spending time with our family and friends, and most of all, we love to laugh.
When we first stared dating, we were complete opposites. I was a total morning person (he was not). I love to get creative in the kitchen (he likes basic meat and potato dishes). If I could I'd spend all my time outside (he would be watching sports 24/7). Now, over 7 years later, I've been to more sporting events than I can count; Jeremy's hiked more than he ever thought he would- and we both have loved every minute of it. While we still have our differences, I think we have an even greater appreciation for each other and love the little unique things about each other.
Jeremy and I both went to UC Santa Barbara (Go Gauchos!) and we even lived in the same dorm our freshman year. While we had many mutual friends we did not start dating until a few years after we had graduated.
We created a family tree collage for the cocktail hour but I actually tried to limit the amount of DIY projects so I wouldn't be overwhelmed. :)
Lots of adventures as husband and wife!
