I'm not sure it gets any more romantic than this Savannah wedding. From the pastel ocean theme to the billowing tulle in everything from the decor to that incredible dress, this shindig is something out of our very best wedding dreams. Savannah is one of those cities that just radiates charm and class, and the couples who choose this locale to say "I Do" are never short on creativity and personality. Alexis Sweet Photography captured Lindsey & Aaron's soiree perfectly, and she gives us image after image of oh-so-much pretty. We really could go on and on, but we will let y'all see for yourselves!

    From the photographer......

Blush pink everywhere! Lindsey and Aaron’s wedding was like stepping onto a cloud of cotton candy. From the bride’s ballerina pink dress, to the pastel ocean theme, this wedding was a romantic fairy tale to say the least. The bride’s mother contributed her talents as a florist, and the arrangements were an array of unusual shapes dotted with crystals. Seahorse pins replaced boutonnieres and corsages. The beach meets tulle remained a theme through the wedding’s design.

Lindsey reminded me of a china doll. Beautiful, porcelain, and sweet. She said before walking down the aisle, “I feel the most beautiful I’ve ever felt.” Then my heart melted into a puddle of ooze on the floor. Aaron spent his pre-ceremony prep time pacing through Tybee Wedding Chapel waiting with anticipation for his first look at Lindsey.

Tybee Wedding Chapel provided a beautiful backdrop as always, and after the ceremony, the couple proceeded to get into one of the coolest vintage wedding cars I’ve ever seen. We all headed to Garibaldi’s Ballroom in the Savannah Historic District. My jaw dropped when I entered the elegant mirrored room (I’d just like to point out at this time that the coupled planned the wedding from Kentucky. Impressive). Crystal candelabra’s with pink candles were surrounded by roses. The cake was a simple but stunning and was bare with the exception of buttercream layers, roses and fruit (well done Tier Luxury Cakes). Lindsey and Aaron’s first dance was so sweet, and the bride opted to have everyone join them for it (a great solution for anyone who is feeling self conscious about their impending first dance).

    The Couple

    Together

It was such a romantic wedding, and I couldn’t have enjoyed working with Lindsey and Aaron any more than I did. I wish them all the best in their newest adventure.
