Oh my goodness, I must start with the florals in this wedding - so lush & so gorgeous! Meghan's maids held bouquets full of color, and Meghan held white flowers with highlights of greenery. From the flowers to the bubbles to the vibrant red of the bride's hair, we are just dreamy eyed looking at these images! The differently color bottles that adorn the reception areas are so unique, and don't even get us started on the ceiling of the venue. Ahh so much design beauty & so much love captured by Courtney Bowlden Photography - We hope you love it as much as we do!
From the photographer....
Meghan and Chris had a very traditional catholic wedding. It was quite elegant and very sweet and romantic. As we were taking pictures of the bride and her bridesmaids, an older gentleman came up to Meghan and gave her his rosary beads, which happened to be blue! That was a very sweet an special moment for Meghan.
It was a gloomy, rainy day, but it didn't seem to bother Meghan at all. She even took pictures in the rain with no hesitation. Their spirits were both very calm and joyful.
After the ceremony, everyone headed to the reception area. Meghan and Chris really wanted to spend as much time with their friends and family as possible and wanted them to feel very included in their celebration. The father-daughter dance was especially moving. Everyone was in tears. It was a very sweet, tender wedding. The cake was designed by her sister, who just started making cakes as a profession.
This wedding took place in October, so the colors were all fall colors, which looked fantastic on Meghan's fair skin and red hair.
