Now this is a waterfront wedding done to perfection if I do say so myself. Ulrike & Andrew's wedding was simple and sweet, yet completely tantalizing with all of the stunning details that lie within every pixel in these gorgeous pictures from Lisa Nicolosi Photography. These two pieced together a celebration that's drenched in romance, sweetness, and all-around beauty, and every ounce of it is just full of inspiration that is to die for. My loves, you are in for quite the treat, so sit back and cozy up - you won't want to leave this gem anytime soon! Xoxo.
From the talented photographer....
Ulrike & Andrew are residents of NYC that love the beauty of the North Fork of Long Island. They chose the historic Brecknock Hall in Greenport for their August 23, 2014 wedding.
What a great choice!
Their guest table cards were miniature NYC taxi cabs reflecting their pride in New York City.
Ulrike's & Andrew's dear friend, Ling Shao performed their ceremony.
They charted the North Fork Express to transport their guests to Brecknock Hall.
Ulrike is originally from Germany and Andrew is originally from Maine. During their heartfelt sand ceremony, Ulrike's mother poured sand from Germany and Andrew's mother poured sand from the USA into a glass bottle combining the sand from both continents into one vessel.
After the ceremony we took a short golf cart ride down to a private beach that was graced with an amazing sky and glowing light truly showcasing the North Fork's natural beauty which they love so much.
Their lovely cocktail hour was held outside in the backyard of Brecknock Mansion.
The Fifth Season served amazing food - while Ulrike & Andrew's best man, maid of honor, and both their mother's made some of the most poignant toasts I have ever heard which was a testament to how special they truly are.
Andrew is originally from the state of Maine and resides in NYC.
Ulrike was born in Germany and has been living in NYC for over 10 years.
Ulrike & Andrew are two of the warmest, happy and most down to earth people I have ever met. As I photographed them on their wedding day - they were very relaxed and shared lots of laughs. During the toasts - Ulrike's charismatic maid of honor, Krista, shared a story of the night that Ulrike & Andrew first met; how she took a photograph of them together in the midst of heightened laughter. This story made me smile to myself because I too was capturing not only their evident love and respect for one another- but their humor, fun, and joyful laughter.
