👋🏻Oh hey gang, I'm Matthew, the Wedding DJ and Coordinator with Bow Tied Experiences. My aim is help fun-loving couples with a seamless experience by coordinating the music, the timeline, the layout, and all the details, so you can have a fun and stress-free wedding celebration. 🎉Leading up to your wedding celebration, I'll get started by helping to ease the stress of wedding planning with a complimentary date night experience. A couple months out we can start diving into the details, schedule a walkthrough at your venue with your whole wedding team, and begin finalizing your timeline, the layout, and of course, the music.
💒On your wedding weekend, I'll go above and beyond for you by making sure every detail is covered (don't take my word for it, read my reviews). My OCD really comes in handy as a wedding professional, because I literally obsess over making sure my couples, and their guests, have an absolute blast. 🎶As for the dance party, well I've been rocking celebrations since high school and well, I believe my reviews will tell you I'm pretty good at it by now. I will work with you to curate a playlist that matches your culture and your vibe. Even if you are thinking in the back of your mind that your vibe might be challenging, bring it!

Great coordinator and DJ service!
We worked with Matthew as both our DJ and wedding coordinator and would highly recommend his services. He was very easy to work with, incredibly proactive with his communication, and overall an energetic and helpful one-man support system for our wedding day. He not only kept the party flowing perfectly, but stepped in to help during the planning and preparation process and made sure that everything from the church ceremony to the afterparty was well-thought-out and flowed smoothly. Hire this service!
Exceeded All Expectations
Matt went above and beyond to make our wedding exactly what we hoped for and then some! From the start, he was personable and made an effort to get to know us as a couple and what our guests might look for, rather than making assumptions or working off a "templated plan." He was nonjudgmental and offered creative suggestions/solutions on matters we didn't think of or didn't know enough about. At the same time, he took into account every tiny/unusual request or detail we asked for. Countless guests commented on how skilled he was at reading the room and keeping the energy high all night... guests who otherwise don't dance or party at weddings were on the dance floor all night thanks to Matt! While we only hired him as a DJ, from what I understand he has since added on coordinator services, and he showcased those skills as well! He was more than just a DJ who shows up to play songs- he worked seamlessly with our other vendors to ensure a smooth flow. He kept us on schedule, moving things along just as we had imagined, while staying flexible with our whims throughout the night. He even checked in to make sure we had drinks, food, etc. as festivities went along. He is truly dedicated to his role, and his passion shines through, making our day even better than we could have ever imagined!
Fun fun fun!
Matthew and Karese are such a fun duo! After a year delay due to the pandemic, the long awaited dance party at our anniversary vow renewal celebration was a hit. Matthew played all the best music that people wanted to dance to and have a good time with and none of the lame, worn out wedding songs! During the planning process they were super attentive, great with communication, and flexible with my vision for a slightly different run of show since it was a renewal event. They helped keep the party going all night long and appreciate all they did! We had a blast!
Book Them!
Matt and Karese have been so helpful through the planning process. From the moment we booked even until after our wedding they made sure we had a great experience. I can go on and on about why you should book them but one thing that stands out more than the rest to me is on the day of our wedding, Matt noticed our crowd liked to be outside rather than inside where he originally had setup. Recognizing that, he asked us if we would be ok (after the formalities finished) if he moved his set outside to better serve our guests. Of course we said yes and it took him 5 minutes to switch locations mid wedding and nobody even noticed because he had music playing on a speaker inside the whole time he moved his stuff. Bow Tied Weddings definitely goes above and beyond for their couples! I recommend booking them for any event!
