Hi there, I’m Alison! I’m a wedding and family photographer based in Philadelphia, PA and serving the mid-Atlantic region. I love my job because I get to capture some of life’s most special moments. It’s not lost on me how much of a privilege it is to have my photographs hanging on people’s walls for generations. It makes me weepy.

You might be an ADP bride if… You know that things happen at weddings that you can’t control, and are willing to embrace the chaos and magic of a wedding day. You’re excited to celebrate with your family and friends, but are most excited to marry your best bud. You’re resigned to the fact that you’ll probably happy cry through the day (and that I will too). You can’t wait for portrait time, and do a happy dance when I tell you it’s time for the veil photos, and you can’t WAIT to bust a move on the dance floor. We might just be an excellent match.

    Alison is a JOY to work with and her photography is spectacular. She photographed two of my sister's weddings, and was my first call when I was looking at wedding dates to make sure she was available! Day of the wedding, Alison made me feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful the entire time. Her and her second shooter blended into the background of the day and got the most stunning shots of me & hubs, and family and friends. AND she sent our photos back to us in less than a week! (She even sent a handful the morning after the wedding as a sneak peak which was such a joy to have so quickly!) Her eye for detail, capturing sweet moments, and helping wrangle large groups of people turns chaos into order - especially when you want to spend more time enjoying the day instead of looking for aunts and uncles for family photos!

    We booked Alison for our 2016 wedding and are SO glad we did! I did a ton of research into local photographers, and even had a professional photographer friend help me search through people in our general area to find wedding photographers who stuck out to her. She found Alison Dunn Photography and I’m so glad! She fit our budget and had a beautiful portfolio. She was so easy to work with, made us feel less awkward and guided us through all our sessions. We had such a fun engagement shoot and she was awesome at our wedding— our photos really turned out even more beautiful than I expected, she captured all the amazing moments. Since then we’ve done additional mini sessions as maternity photos and holiday card/family photos. She chooses beautiful spaces for her mini sessions and we are happy to be able to book with her again and again. Her photos are beautiful and timeless. We’ve ordered prints and a wedding album, which all were beautiful as well. We’re happy to work with her again and again, she is the best!
